Question:
Which meme is better?
Option 1: Walking Boot
votes: 56
Option 2: Username + Critical Recruit
votes: 16
Previous round summary: In a yawner, Walking Boot destroyed the old fogies of the Gold Vest team despite being hampered by the entire team playing with walking boots on a leg and an arm. In a much tighter game, Username had all it could handle from the Vatican Smoke. In the end, where wasn't enough decisiveness out of Vatican and Username used a critical freshman recruit to win the day.
Walking Boot
Marquette players since 2000 have had a propensity to injure legs and feet(Chris Otule and Dan Fitzgerald being the leads), resulting in their being placed in walking boots. Sometimes players that no one had any idea were injured would be spotted on campus with a walking boot on, this included players who would then play in a game that night. This led to the often repeated walking boot meme when any player was thought to be injured or even struggling with classes. It has been speculated that MU has a discount deal with a boot supplier.
Username + Critical Recruit
This meme got started in the days leading up to Henry Ellenson's announcement of where he would be taking his talents. In the frenzy of Scoop angst, someone started the trend of changing their username to include Ellenson in it. Can't find who, but like any good brushfire it quietly ignited a raging firestorm of name changes until almost the entire board was consumed. Has now continued Damion Lee.
Interesting to see that a large portion of the board took up this meme with Ellenson and a smaller majority took it up with Lee....surprised to see it get trounced so early, must have been a soft non-con schedule.
Respect the Walking Boot
This is akin to Passover - a sacrifice such that the walking boot will hobble on by and not lock Marquette in its damning sights.

What's that on your sleeve?
Could it be the blood of a slaughtered spring lamb?
