he must have missed one of the most important meetings at freshman orientation-the one where they review the do's and don'ts of dope smoking in the dorms-
*close the door
*bonus-your neighbor next door acts as a look-out
you are well versed/practiced and coordinated with a preconceived morse code-like warning system
*wet towel seal where the door meets the floor
*open the window
-a fan is a bonus
*OZIUM-a must have in ones armamentarium for elicit dorm activities
*keep the music and any other extracurricular noise to minimal-normal levels
no need to draw any unnecessary attention to room
(includes the avoidance of over-arousing the opposite sex if happy-ending is concurrent with elicit
activities)
*occupants MUST maintain man or they lose future privileges

Four on the Squirm-O-Meter. Two more likely team suspensions (Perea also in room) at I4 for drugs or alcohol. Is there nothing else to do in B-Town than to get drunk and high? This was an issue under Sampson that continues on under CTC. What would be the reaction at MU?

Depends on who the coach is. For one prolific poster anyway. Kids are kids and kids do stupid stuff. I did. Most of the people here did. The difference is that this kid is in the public eye. If it were any other school than IU and any other coach than Crean, it would be a minor blip. Because it would be rightly noted that this goes on among young people anywhere. But it is Crean, who was hired to clean the program up, it is a pattern there, and it is entertaining here on Scoop to watch Chico's squirm and divert and demagogue and defend all things Crean. He is so passionate in his defense of Crean while simultaneously being so critical of all things Buzz. And his silence on these transgressions is almost as entertaining as his Pavlovian defending of Crean. He painted himself into such a corner in his criticisms of the program under Buzz and his moral rectitude about any and all aberrant behavior and now he is paralyzed between his reflexive Crean defense and his reflexive moral outrage.
So, from a personal perspective, meh. From an entertainment perspective, party on, Hoosiers.

And remember all those "other shoes" that were going to drop regarding Buzz's tenure at MU? Crickets, while Bloomington burns. Oh, the irony. Oh, the hypocrisy.

Both gone. What a complete mess. A program clearly out of control when all the of the incidents are added up. Interesting that neither the AD or CTC made the announcement.

Pretty spot on. Smoking in McCormick was way tougher because of the vents above the door and the layout of the room. We never really messed with that. Schroeder on the other hand....room 801 was like Eric Foreman's basement.

You aren't grasping the point. Both players were dismissed from school for *repeated* conduct violations. What those violations were are largely irrelevant because they knew what they were doing was on the wrong side of them.

I think I get the point. When violations are unjustified, it shouldn't matter how many times they occurred.

Well when you grow up to run the athletic department at Indiana University, you will get the chance to write the code of conduct. Until then, it is still a violation that they knowingly violated multiple times.

Yep. They started reaching out to 2015's right after the citation. May have given it a couple of days to make it look like a little due diligence was done.. but may have been a #donedeal quickly.

Just needed to have a 3 piece triple in Mccormick and you were fine....
