Disappointing considering how well he was playing for the Lakers. I'm hopeful he's shown enough to get another chance with L.A. or elsewhere.

You can't make this up. Dwight Buycks has a fracture in his right hand and is out for the season
If their is "positive spin" from this ... the Lakers are not going to the playoffs and only have two games left. So, he's not missing much and hopefully did enough to impress for next season.

Lakers are going to rehaul their roster big time...Buycks will be lucky if they even consider to keep him along for the new look.

I was at the game tonight in LA. He was playing pretty good, had some incredible moves and played a lot. Had 10 but his outside 3s didn't go in. From what I saw, he deserves to be back next season.
YUCK! His shooting hand nonetheless!
The Lakers are calling up Vander to take Buycks' spot.
