That is all
Jones and Allen were unbelievable.
GO DUKE!
It shows that you have to a couple of great shooters to win.
Allen is the next Reddick/Laettner

Yes. I once said you were a smart guy and called River Rat a decent human being.
Badgers: Bigs 51 points, Guards 12
Duke: Guards 45, Bigs 23
So UW's Bigs outscored Duke's Guards. But, Duke's Bigs schooled UW's Guards. Final score: Bigs 74-Guards 57.

Wisconsin plays 3 bigs vs 2 guards at any given time. Not surprisng at all.
Duke's guards won this game for Duke, and UW-madison's guards did not play well. Not sure if that Gasser finger to the eye effected him, but he struggled.
This game was a guards game.
Crapshoot

Define big.Tall people? Dekker is not a big. Wisconsin has two bigs in Frank and Hayes. Dekker, who is tall, plays the wing and I would classify as a small forward. The other two guards are Bronson and Gasser. When Dekker sits, I don't know what big takes his place.
Wisconsin played in the final game based on the play of a big. They happen to lose to Duke who also made the final game based on a big. Had Okafor not had foul trouble he would have been a huge part of the game.
I wouldn't use this game as proof it is a guards game.

Last night I said to myself "Chicos will have a "guards game" post up by the end of the night."

Good prediction! Now how will MU do next year, and give us your optimistic best?
Okafor was an absolute difference maker in the closing possessions and without him Duke very well may have lost, even with the great guard play. Can't win without bigs and guards. THAT is all

7/8 seed.
The supply of talented big men is smaller than the supply of talented guards. The value of talented big men is greater.

Can't get to the NC without him either.

Hmmmm.....Sultan out-predicting Lunardi. Could an ESPN gig be in the future?

Neither of these teams would have been in the finals without their big men.

Lunardi's early 2016 predictions. Don't see why he did it this early with NBA declarations, signees, etc. and no, MU not even close.
