Watching sports center, I see that Fields was playing for Pitt tonight. Was there any update to the initial story where he got arrested for the nightclub incident? Just wondering where that stands. I remember seeing something but didn't know what the final outcome ended up being.
Is it me or does Fields look more slimmed down this year? He looked leaner and more "cut" up when I watched part of the Pitt game tonight.
The court gave him a 9 month probation, and 50 hours community service.
Dixion said that was good enough and he would not miss any court time :-\

I'll get the most obvious one out of the way.
"DON'T TASE ME BRO!"
Fields of (Tequila) Gold
Don't forget to brainstorm ideas for the Louisville game...during their tourney in Vegas a few of the players and coaches made some headlines. (This was already posted but I figured we could reitirate it here)
Yeah, Jamie the strict disciplinarian thought the punishment for underage drinking and grabbing the gun of an off-duty cop was not missing a second of the season.
I think Fields is a thug just like Devendorf... I hate players like that... they get off easy just because they are athletes... if it were me committing the crime i would have gotten in way more trouble

A lot of inmates spend a lot of time working out.

I'm sure Coach Dixon, being the strict disciplinarian that he is, felt that probationer Fields had suffered enough, what with serving 9 months probation and 50 hours of community service, such that causing him to miss any playing time would be cruel and unusual punishment, both the fields and the team. Had he been a bench player, on the other hand . . . ;)
