Title: Draft King's Rates D Wade's Kentucky Game As Best in 25 Years
Post by: Avenue Commons on March 19, 2015, 09:54:26 AM
I know it's part of an ad for their site, but still cool to see D Wade as No. 1 over some excellent performances:

Quote1) Dwyane Wade
2003 – Marquette vs Kentucky – Regional Final
(63.75 Fantasy Points) 29 Points, 11 Rebounds, 11 Assists, 4 Blocks
While Carmelo went on to win the National Title, it was Wade's regional final performance that stood out the most. He put Marquette back on the map by defeating the heavily favored #1 seed Kentucky, Wade's triple-double was only the fourth in NCAA tournament history (Magic Johnson had a very similar stat line the semifinals in 1979). This game would propel his draft stock into the top 5 of the famed 2003 draft class along with LeBron James, Carmelo, and Chris Bosh.
