- What better way to make a statement as a conference than by having one of our flagship programs win a championship on the back of the overwhelming favorite (or better yet, a rodent), right?
- Calipari sucks. Bo sucks. Domers suck. Dook sucks at sucking; but they still suck at something. Who else has a legitimate shot? I suppose I'm OK with IA State (McKay) and Gonzaga, but what is the reality there?
- At least we could say our season ended with a loss to the National Champion.
I am pulling for all BE teams.
I'd love to see a Prov-Nova E8 game.
Definitely pulling for 'Nova. I really like their chances if they get out of the first weekend. Just need to get that monkey off their back. I think they do, and carry it all the way to the Final Four.
I'm just worn out right now. Tried to watch the play-in games and failed. I know I'll get fired up tonight, but just not feeling it this morning.
Of course, I could be hung over...
I have Nova getting upset by N.C. State in the second round (or third round or whatever the NCAA is calling it).
I absolutely acknowledge that I might be very wrong. There will be upsets and the fun is trying to predict which ones actually will occur.
If I am wrong about this and Nova advances to the Sweet 16, they will be my sentimental favorite from there on out.
I do have Providence getting to the Sweet 16 before losing to Virginia and Butler getting to the Elite 8 before falling to Kentucky, my eventual champion.
Yes, that's right, I went way out on a limb and picked Kentucky.
Nope
Pulling for IA State
Lots of Milwaukee and Wisconsin connections.
Love how they are the exact opposite of the badgers
Team plays super tough and coach was one step ahead of everyone when it came to building a program in a unique way.
Yes, and Kentucky.
My final four is Butler, Xavier, Nova and Georgetown.
Pulling for Kentucky and Iowa St.

As crazy as this sounds... Nova's is a 1-seed; after 2010, one would have to be an idiot to outright dismiss the possibility of giant-killing Butler being in the Final Four; and Georgetown has the talent to make a deep run.... that's not a terrible Final Four, and would probably be worth whatever odds you could get on the action.
The only one of the four I can't bring myself to envision being in the FF is Xavier (only because I can't see them beating Becky, unfortunately).

Yes, I'll be casually rooting for the bracket I picked...but if big east teams were to blow it up I'm good with that too.
Villanofun is my most hated team in the Big East. That said, I have them in the finals and will absolutely be rooting for them.
Big East teams advancing means more $$$ for MU and more prestige for the conference overall.
So yes, I'm pulling for Nova, GTown, etc, etc.
Once the 3's stop fallin', as they will when the old sphincter tightens up, Nova has no chance, hey?
I'm pulling for Notre Dame.

Come on Northeastern.... make it a happy day. Only down 4 at the half.
All BE teams and IA State

I'm rooting for the Friars, but I hope Villanova does well.
It's baseball season.
I would of anyways, but now I really have to. My daughter entered her first NCAA pool this year. She asked me to review her picks. She had Louisville winning the whole thing and I had her switch it to Villanova. She also had Maryland beating Kencuky, which I had her change.
Iowa St. for me. Also, Coastal Carolina.
Some sad pandas in this thread, aina?

AWFUL!!!!
What's awful is picking Iowa State to win it all... one of my workmates did the same thing, and if I didn't know any better I'd swear someone ate his cat for lunch yesterday.
I had ISU going to the elite eight so I'm staggering in my bracketology but not out of it yet. Probably the Friday games will have me tearing up my sheet!
