Duane Wilson suffered a fractured left wrist during the Seton Hall win in the Big East tournament. #mubb

Wojo says Luke Fischer will have left shoulder surgery in the near future. #mubb

I was worried about Luke. I hope that doesn't wipe out his entire summer.
-
He should have had it done last year.
-
Don't envy either of them. Glad they have the offseason to heal up and get stronger. We'll need the both of them come the fall!
-
Glad it's getting done now. Luke looked to be in serious pain every time he took a hit to the shoulder.
-
So Duane was actually gutting it out to give the minutes he did against Nova and Wojo did the right thing sitting him the last 15 minutes as the game got away. And Luke gutted it out all year while being accused of being soft. Duane, Luke, thank you both for playing through pain and being warriors.

Your basic Ners:
Geez. What a bunch of crybabies. Duane is soft! Doesn't he know he needs to pay a full 40, no matter how far behind we are? Hey Wojo, don't you want to win the Big East? No wonder we're not in the NCAA!
What everyone should be saying:
Seriously, no grief here. The game was unwinnable and Duane is a far more valuable asset healthy and well-prepared next year than he was in the last 15 minutes of Villanova.

+1 As a wise man once said, "true warriors don't whine", and they are both true warriors.

Wow, Duane Wilson: two years, two fractures. That luck has got to change, he's earned it.
-
Wojo said today that the players will be begin their personal workouts. So, with two hurt, Steve leaving, Wally focused on the outdoor season, that leaves JJJ and Sandy to play 1:1. That is a 10:2 staff to player ratio. Crazy mess.

Maybe JJJ csn work on his ball handling skills to be our starting PG next year. ;D

Ners would never call Duane soft.........now Derrick.......

IF he was Chris Borland, he would have left the game.

I thought you said he was transferring?
-
Any detail on Duane's injury? If it's the navicular, he might not be out of the woods so fast.

Still believe he will but im not gonna say done deal or stone cold lock.

Duane broke his wrist. Navicular is in the foot.
-
False. Some call the scaphoid in the wrist the navicular, doesn't necessarily mean 'foot'.

Fair enough. Never learned it that way

Nah, it's too late for that. He needed to play minutes at the point guard during games this year even though he didn't earn those minutes in practice so that he could "develop".
