Kickin' Villanova's ass today will likely result in Wisconsin gettin' a 1 seed, ai na? Y'all down with that? Or, would it be better to lay down and take it in the shorts to fook over Bucky?
I'm hoping to see Bucky be the first 1 seed to lose a first round game to a 16. So I say beat Nova.
I think Arizona has the better case to be the final 1 seed than UW-Madison. But in any case, what LH said. Win and let UW-Madison be the first 1 seed to lose an opening-round game.
The Rutgers loss is really hurting Wiscy right now. The only way they get a one is if Nova and Arizona lose early in their conference tourney and Wiscy runs the table in the AAC....errrr...B1?.
The impossible dream scenario would be us winning the Big East, getting the 16, and beating top seeded Wisconsin.
Its a tall task to beat the #1 Seed and top 5 team in the country on less than 15 hours rest.
I hope they do it tho.
Beat Nova.
Wisconsin's inevitable loss will be even better if they're a 1 seed.

Wisky will get a higher seed than a 16. Also, I believe several 16 seeds have lost their opening round game over the years. ;)
Always hope we win no matter what!
Go Marquette! Go! Go! Goooooo! ...........
I wouldn't put Wisconsin as a sure fire bet to get out of the Big Ten tournament. Anything can happen on a neutral court.
And then we wake up on a dusty and dreary ranch/farm in Kansas.

Ya right! Carlino hasn't even cooled off in 15 hours. He's gonna come out gun slinging.
Don't care about Wisconsin. Only care about Marquette.

For a second I thought you were serious. Winning is a much better feeling. Have never felt good about jealous revenge. Wisconsin is a great team this year, so what. If they have some jerks for fans, so what, every team has them. Take the high road and show MU has character that surely will differentiate us.

Dude, if MU wins out, there is no chance in hell they get a 16. We've been over this. I know your comment was somewhat in jest, but c'mon. Georgia a few years back would be the precedent and they were a 14.

If Marquette wins out, they are likely in the 13 seed play in game next Tuesday.

I thought the play in games were only for at-large bids?

Yeah you are right. They have two 16 v. 16 games for teams from really bad conferences. And then they have two at large bid games.
Marquette would be too good for the 16 seed games.

That's not possible. If Marquette wins out, they get an automatic bid. The 11/12/13 seed play-in games are reserved for the last four at-large bids. The 16 seed play-in games are reserved for the last four automatic bids.
If we play and beat the highest seed in every game ('Nova, Providence, GT) we would have an RPI just below 100. Based on past history, we would likely be a 14/15 seed. Maybe a 13 if they give us bonus points for our SOS (would be top-25) but either way there is no way we would be in the play-in games in Dayton.
We beat seton hall and everyone's talking about what seed were gonna be in the tourney..... Ahh well Dream on lets do this.

Pretty hypothetical discussion my friend...
Beat Nova, let Becky fall where they may and face our nation's team - Texas Southern.

I would definitely be cheering my ass off for that typical SWAC team if they came up against Bucky ;)

all of my Badger friends are complaining about getting stuck with KY if WI is a 2 seed saying they shouldn't have to play them before the Final 4 ::)

They should be more worried about getting to the second weekend than they are the third.
