1. Seton Hall
2. All of the starters.
Ok, um...
1. Luke
2. Matt
3. Duane
4. Derrick
I know we have a big lead but it's still a little early for SOTG.
But I'm going
1. Carlino
2. DeWil
3. fish
Carlino
Derrick
Luke
Duane
Wojo. He made the boys believe and they became men.
Carlinos Way.....
Derrick too.....
Can somebody please point me to the thread Chicos started suggesting we're better off without Car3no? Good stuff. ::)
I vote Chicos for SOTG for that gem.
Luke
Give it to the new record holders. Matt and Derrick. Dual winners
Derrick. The rest of the team made 28 shots. Derrick assisted on half of those. Just ran the offense, fed the post and perimeter, and Sterling Gibbs had 6 points. Big East Tournament record 14 assists.
I am thinking about how Luke played so well when the game was still in the balance. A lot of Carlino's points came as repetitive daggers. But if the mods want to give it to Matt and Derrick, I won't kvetch.
Derrick
Can we go with DeWil assist to Carlino for "3" as the SOTG?
If I have to choose 1 guy, it has to be Derrick.
But really, Matt, Luke, Duane and Juan should all get votes.
1. Car3no
2. Ners's BFF
3. Luuuuuuuuuuuke
Very nice games for Duane and Teve also.
Derrick
Carlino
Luke
1. Carlino and Derrick for tying BET records.
2. Fischy
3. CBSSportsline for granting OTule a 7th year of eligibility.
I would go with Carlino or Derrick.
DerrickWhat would Derrick be like with 4 Years with Wojo!!

So why on earth didn't Wojo play Otule?!?
That is awesome!
Derrick for getting in the record book and bringing up Dana Barros. Haven't heard that name in awhile, but he was a good one.
Derrick. 14 assists. Ran the show. Shut down Gibbs (1-8 from the floor).
DWILL
Car3no
Luke Nuke 'em

I get the excitement but dude we were 13-18 this year.
Matt for putting the ball in the hoop over and over and over again.
In all seriousness. Derrick played his best game as a Warrior. I hope Traci was jumping up and down in front of his TV.
Carlino running away.
Derrick, Juan, and Luke in any order.
Derrick. Terrific D and 14 assists.
definitely carlino. a healthy carlino really changes this team.
Carlino without a doubt.
Luke
Carlino
Easy...carlino followed by De Wil with the assists by him to Matt. Post 1 so excited about future :)

That's with only one year with Wojo!!
Derrick. Not only was he great today (BEast tournament record!) we will have a 6-way tie for most STOGs and will need to win tomorrow for the tiebreaker.
Easy choice. Ian White. He threw a hell of a dart match tonight. Guy was knocking down triple 20s.
I hate you AT&T.

FIFY. Steve's gonna go for 16/14.
Carlino hands down, even though many other solid performance tonight such as Luke's.
A guard who can really shoot it is just so valuable at tournament time in college ball. When Carlino's on, he can carry a team. If he's on tomorrow, and get enough support from others, it's not out of the question for an upset. That said, he'll probably have to top tonight's performance, like deliver a Georgia Tech type outing.
So glad for Wojo and the eight men who stuck with him and the program for tonight's win. This has been a season to forget generally, but they at least wento New York and got a win, and a convincing one at that!

:D :D
Lucky for me my dad lives nearby and has Time Warner!!
Tomorrow, not sure yet, maybe to a bar, bar/restaurant for an early lunch. I'm not missing it though!!
Respect the record, Wilson
Made a quick decision to go with Carlino since in 14 hours or so we'll have to elect a new stud!

Hah, I didn't even realize he's been tracking an MVP for games, but glad to know we agree on the last two at least!

You are the worst poster on this board and it's really not even close
Carlino was the right choice, though Derrick had a very nice game. A good chunk of his assists were because Carlino was making 3s from everywhere. Not a knock on Derrick, but it takes greater skill to make the 3 than to pass to the 3 point shooter.
But one thing about Derrick. He only scored one hoop from the floor, but I think it was the biggest shot of the game for MU. We were up 10-8 after jumping out to the 10-2 lead and hadn't scored on 7 straight possessions and for the only time in the game things did not look so rosy. He made a smart drive for a conventional 3 point play and we were off to the races after that.

Yep, that shot was huge. The only other one that comes close in terms of switching momentum back in our favor was Steve's buzzer-beater at the half. Both came when SHU seemed to be getting momentum, and quickly swung it back in our favor.
Though I gotta admit there were quite a few huge shots last night....
