Luke: 17 points, 9 boards, 3 blocks, and 7/8 from the charity stripe.
Honorable mention: Carlino with 20 points
Luke.
Matt with his usual 3pt attack that no one else can provide.
Luke, Steve and JJJ were brilliant together today.
Nah give it to Carlin with 20 points 2 assists 5 boards. Senior night + opened up the floor for fish.
Luke...
Shout out to STJ and his 12 boards.
Luke with the double-double.
Edit: Wait, only 9 RBs. nm
4 swishes in a row.....
Matt over Luke bc of senior day.
Been such a bad season that I forgot we did this
Gotta give it to Carlino
Give it to Luke so the leaders stay tied at 2.
Basketball gods don't like ties.
It will mean we have at least 1 more win coming!!
Luke by far
1. Matt.
2. Luke.
3. Steve.
Luke. Matt wouldn't be a bad pick, though.
Luke and Steve with a nice assist from Matt.
Luke, DePaul had no answer.
It's been so long, I forgot there was a SOTG.
My vote goes to Luke. Matt and Steve were excellent, too.
Luke.
Luke
Luke
17 points, 9 boards, 3 blocks
Luke, but Steve deserves some props as well.
Luke over Matt but Steve has become a monster on the boards and is a stud as well
Matt.
I'm thinkin' Big Fish. Most importantly, he stayed on the floor and contributed as a result. The more I see him play with Capn' Teve, the more I like it.
29 rebounds in two games people. As Mac said, someone will give him a paycheck if he keeps doing that.

I've been thinking that all year. We need him to devote his game to getting boards on both ends. He isn't going to be the star with 20 points per game, but he could be the player getting double digit rebounds every game.
From what I saw on my iPhone and listened to, I'd give SOTG to Luke.
Carlino all the way.
Luke had a really nice game today, but it would have had to been dominating to give SOTG to him over Carlino on Senior Day. High honorable mention SOTG to Luke.
Luke. Great game. Limited his fouls too.
Luke. (Sorry, Matt)
Carlino easy
Luke was good but still relatively soft and only scored on dump offs and second chances

I have no idea where you're getting he was "relatively soft" today - he had 9 boards and 3 blocks for crying out loud. What do you want?
1. Matt
2. Luke
3. Mark
4. John
Luuuuuke

Except we'll have to call him Matthew Carlino then.
WOJO - for keeping Derrick, Carlino, Johnson, Taylor, and Fischer on the court together for 12+ minutes when it was apparently obvious they were the five best players by a long shot today.

Oh, so you mean the opposite of what Buzz would have done. ;D

Say what you want about Buzz, but with the exception of last season he was fantastic at maximizing his personnel in his tenure here.

Next year, if Teve can play the 3, learn to elevate a bit more, and rebound like this, watch out.

Someone's going to teach him to jump higher?
The notion of him playing 3 is silly - he doesn't have the handle, perimeter shot, quickness defensively, nothing to play that position.
Yeah....Steve aint playing the 3.
He may play with Luke and Henry at the same time, but IMO Henry is the one that's going to be floating around and hitting jumpers. If Steve continues to rebound like he has, he will have a very valuable role next year.

No chance unless we play zone. Now can Henry play the #3? We'll have to wait and see.
Judging what I've seen and read about Henry, he'll be doing something of everything next year. The kid has every basketball skill you could want.

Can he slay Goliath (Kentucky)?

He was blocked multiple times by smaller players after offensive rebounds. He's got to be able to finish over smaller players.

I think people look at his lack of explosive jumping ability and decide that means he is soft. He simply needs to get in the weight room and work on explosiveness.
Get him to the point where a lay up is not an option. When within 4 ft of the hoop he is going to dunk it.

Probably not ... but he could break their hearts by not even going for a recruiting visit!
