Senior day.
Thank you to Juan, Matt, and ESPECIALLY Derrick.
Now let's go kick some Bluehairywetcat a$$.
GO WARRIORS!!!!
Fischer for SOTG.
Starters are the three seniors, Duane and Luke.
As it should be this day. Go MU!!
This is ugly both ways so far.
Have we ever lost to DePaul twice in the same season?
Hmm ... 4 steps, no travel.
Nice pass by the senior.

Not since 1990-91 season
Juan showing that rebounding energy that Wojo was talking about
7 point lead? Time to run out the clock!
Let's rout these demons.
So the premise for the BET commercial is the Eagle and Blue Jay are playing cards on the street in Manhattan and the Eagle is blatantly cheating. That leads to a fight and chase...then the Red Storm Mascot stops the fight and invites them go to the tourney. It's the worst commercial ever.
Any chance we are the 9 seed? Hows the tie breaker with Creighton run?

I hope not. Want that 10 seed.

I'm living in Spain for the year, so rely on bad streams and this board for updates. This made me actually laugh out loud, and it sounds like a terrible commercial.

You have not seen enough commercials.
but it is pretty bad.
Carlino is definitely NOT going out thinking "man, I really should've shot more 3's in my last home game"...

We win and CU loses we are the 9. CU wins and MU wins, MU is the 10. Both lose and MU is the 10.
X up 21-20.

We're gonna need that next week so may as well get a practice game of bombing in.

I'm with ya... it's our only realistic chance to make a decent tourney run.
On the other hand, not sure we need the likes of Taylor and Anderson putting 'em up.
DePaul is bad, how did we lose to them?
Why hasn't Sandy played?

I want the 9. Beat Nova day two so everyone knows we can be the 16 that knocks off a 1 after our 4 wins at MSG.

We could have a 20 pt lead I would still believe we could loose the game.
Sooooo......

Agreed - there are some pretty bad ads out there (Marquette's commercial is definitely one of them).

Anyone have a guess at what seed MU would get if they won the BE tourney. Would it be as bad as a 15?

Except MU would probably be a 13 or 14.

I know a 10 seed avoids Villanova, but I want to be able to say that my school has never finished dead last in a conference. Gimme that 9 seed. It's not like we are going to win more than 1 game in NYC

How often does that actually come up?
And they'd still be in last place, just tied for it.
Best we've seen Luke in quite some time...
Now that was a nice fast break basket
Bet Ners didn't have a girlfriend that hot in college.

Doubtful. RPI would still be below 100. Most likely 15 if there are other bid stealers, 16 if high seeds win conference tourneys.
Very cool to see Derricks coach show up.
I'm at the game. Is FS2 saying anything about Derrick's injury?
No word
Duane job for next year is consistency.
He makes it rain like Steph Curry vs Prov.
0-6 from 3 vs SJU
And 0-everythig today.
Damn Burr!
(just because)
Steve and luke are a load out there
That said...Steve can stop shooting 3s anytime now.
Steve hitting the boards hard again today
STJr cleaning the glass like a boss.
Virtually no sign of Sandy today. Has he played in the second?

Probably his worst game of the year. Just had a brutal turnover after coming in.
MU guards are 5 for 16.
Hope that Traci Carter is in the crowd. He's thinking, man if I can shoot from outside, I am going to get some playing time. On other hand, he may be watching and thinking both these teams ar just not very good.
At least 10 boards.
Let's go Creighton
Did they say why Hamilton isn't playing for DePaul?

More often than "Remember when Marquette lost to Georgetown in the second round of the BET instead of Villanova?"
we are so much better with Steve and luke together.
Don't get why they don't get 20 minutes at least every game together.
Sounds like Carlino is having a great game.

JaJuan plays best with them on the floor as wel. He has a good eye for feeding the post.
DERRRICKKKKKK!!!!
Derrick, Yes!! senior day
Has he ever has two clean swishes?
DEEEERRRRRRIIIIIICCCCCCKKKKKK!
Four
4
Four in a row!!!!!!
I love Derrick Wilson, and I'm so happy he got a win in his last game, but it's SOOOO difficult to watch your point guard get fouled down the stretch because your opponent considers him a better bet to miss from the free throw line than the center.
Holy sh.... four in a row!
TWWWIIIINNNNSSSS!!!!
Glad Derrick got those last four free throws down.

JJJ was great today too.
Good to see a Victory for them today.
They must of read my survey. They asked what they could do to make the game experience better and I replied they could announce the opposing team's heights. Today they announce the DePaul player's heights.

He usually bangs the FT off the back of the rim. Tonight he had the touch. Good for him

If I was the BMOHBC announcer, I would have done it in meters... just to screw with you.

Or maybe he was just tired and couldn't get it all the way to the back of the rim.

As long as it's a Red Storm and the not the Blue Nazis from the NCAA, I'm OK with it!
