Were there any at the MU vs. Nova game Saturday? I was sitting pretty close to the MU bench and it looked like there was a recruit in the 2nd row behind the bench with probably his parents and 2 brothers or teammates. Robert Jackson took off with about 5 minutes left but before leaving he pulled the kid down to talk to him by the stationary bike and it looked like they exchanged numbers or something. Looked like he was probably 6'5" or 6'6" with decent size. No idea who it would've been though.

He didn't have an offer.

So wait the kid committed to us when he was in 8th grade (maybe freshman year?) and Buzz hadn't even offered him?
Would love to see Wojo sign one more 6'9" player.

He had an offer from the former coach, not the current one.
That, of course, could change, but Wojo isn't bound to an offer made to a freshman by the previous coach.

Kid was visiting UW recently too. Seems his game keeps progressing. Has anyone seen him play?
I saw PF play at Concordia when Henry was in town. As I said back then, if I didn't know the MU connection prior, I would have never guessed that Any D1 coach in the country had any interest---even low major. He is very slow and unimpressive. I think he gets the benefit of the doubt as "the 8th grader who received a scholarship". Maybe he has improved, but from what I saw he has a looooooooong way to go.

Thanks. Out of those 4 I would guess Poole, but he looked to be 6'4" minimum. I would say closer to 6'6". Physically bigger than Lewis and wasn't Flory or Heldt.

Flory is only a soph., so let's not write him off too quickly. A legit 6-4, with 3-point range playing in a tough conference, he could still add a few inches. I'm sure a few D1 coaches will make their way to Oshkosh the next few years.
I think Flory will get a look from Marquette. As a sophomore he's the 2nd leading 3P% guy in the state behind 2016 target Sam Hauser. I think Wojo just wanted more time to evaluate, and with Flory, there's plenty of time.
Went to school with Terrence Lewis's brother. Seems like a great family. His dad is a great coach as well. Hopefully he continues to develop. I know those three were all at the game.

Jordan Poole is 5-11 so that 6-4 to 6-6 player wasn't him.
Heldt and Flory are traditional, if that helps?

I did see Poole there. He was sitting in the same row as the other kid who Robert Jackson took to the side and talked to before leaving. Still not sure who that one is.

He must've grown. 414 Hoops lists him at 5-11 but that clearly is outdated. I cross checked at Wissports and they have him listed at 6-3. Based on the pic that height looks about right. Thanks for the link.

Flory is still growing and his ceiling depends on how his body develops with his game.
Poole has definitely grown in the last 6 months, but I would say they are all closer to 6' 3". Interesting in that they are all Playground Elite players. Flory played up with 16s last year with a good team on paper (McCloud, Days, Burt, Lemon), but they never really gelled. I wonder if he gets pulled back to his proper grade this year for PGE. Poole and Lewis were on last year's 15U team -- coached by Duane Wilson's dad. Wilson Sr. and Rob Jackson are good friends and both involved with Boys & Girls clubs.

Looks like Poole had quite a growth spurt. Everything I read about him last year had him at 5-11 140. Only Youtube video I could find was from last year. Will be interesting to watch Poole, Lewis and Flory all develop. Add 6-11 C Owen Hamilton of Prescott, 6-3 PG Luke Lowe of Ripon, and some other intriguing prospects to make the 2017 class in WI one to watch.

When are we going to get on Kaukauna's Jordan McCabe? As a freshman, he leads the top ranked D2 team in scoring and assists.

Not so sure he is still growing. Looked to be about 6'3" at the WBY Shootout in December. His game is more of a forward, so he needs to grow several inches to be at the high-major level. Also has a rather odd body structure for basketball. We shall see how he grows and progresses. Does have some nice skills.

I could stare at that signature gif all day.
I just went to youtube and watched the Caffrey's reaction. Awesome. I want that back.
Personally experiencing the game in Lexington was absolutely surreal.
I love the youtube video with that whole ending. 4 minutes of magic. One of the most unexpected and improbable comebacks that I've ever seen.

Welcome to the board, Mr. McCabe.
Saw McCabe play against HE and Rice Lake in Mequon. Very impressive kid. Great handle and great range.

Love the gif.
Shows why elite athleticism is needed. Shooters, and heady players are necessary, but sometimes you gotta have someone make a play when it is needed. Everyone knew what VB was going to do and he still did it.
