Marquette was interested two years ago.
Quick PG who can shoot and defend.
Two years eligibility left.
Tough kid.
Why did he not play his freshman year?

Why did he not play his freshman year?
He played at a Juco for a year. Apparently fully qualified academically out of high school.
Assuming no variable that gets him eligible immediately, don't think we'll pursue. Makes more sense to go after a grad transfer, JUCO, or HS senior at this point. If he played another position, then maybe.
Haven't seen much from him at Iowa to justify an offer. But its always possible that there's untapped potential.
Not good enough. I Watched most iowa games this year. Hard to believe he can't crack the lineup given how bad their guards are. Gessell, Oglesby and Clemmons all can't shoot a lick. They are a good guard away from being really solid, as they are loaded in the front court (white, Uthoff, Woodbury and olaseni. Either he was in the doghouse or just isn't good enough. He wasn't their top priority at guard. They missed on other recruits and took him
Not sure I want an ineligible PG next year. At least not until we sign one who can contribute immediately.

Yeah I'm with you, there really isn't much talent in front of him right now.
Yeah, Iowa's guards are lousy - if they got any good ones, they'd be a top ten club. Uhhh...
