With his next steal McNeal will hit 150 in his career tying him with D-Wade for 10th All-Time at Marquette. Next up for McNeal will be both Trotter and Deiner who are tied with 158 steals.

you had to know he was going to break this eventually, whats scary is we all thing jerel is good but D-Wade is 10th on the list in just 2 years of playing!!! so he was even better than JM thats crazy!

With injuries taken into account, JM has 65 games under his belt and DW played 65 total games for MU. So, at the same point, JM is 1 steal behind the pace set my His Greatness.
And in fairness I would say McNeal is playing better overall competition. The Big East vs the old CUSA, which just did not have the same depth.
