Class of 83 is here in strength!
We got this.
Copper, we got this for you.
GO WARRIORS!!!
With a week to prepare and w/out Carlino, this game may be a test for how good a coach Wojo is up to this point.
Jimmy Mac and I are wearing matching outfits.
Good start, stay aggressive....
Feed Luke.....
Do we only have 6 players today?

I see Juan on the exercise bike.
Driscoll being Driscoll.
Enjoyable game to watch thus far. Actually was happy to see Derrick take the two pull up midrange jumpers. Made one, missed the other - but he needs to shoot that shot - and has needed to for two years.
I wish they would go back to 3 steps being a travel in basketball.
Danger time.
That third foul on Sandy hurt, six guys is tough.
Is there something wrong with Duane? Is he ok?
And there it goes...
No point in taking Sandy out with 3 fouls. Save him for when we're down 20 with 13 minutes left in the game? No point.
All Duanes shots are short, time to put the twins in.
BS call on jjj

2 BS calls - the one picked up for "fouling" Pinkston, where there was no contact, and then on Arch.

Agree, that was a crap call on JJJ
Didn't play that bad, Nova just has an answer for everything.
Agreed
Is MU getting the short end of the officiating stick as much as it seems from the upper deck?
Lucky to be down under 10. We ran out of gas at the end of the half. Hopefully we can make it thru without someone fouling out but if they keep making calls like the last one on JJJ we are going to see the twins.
Bad call with JJJ, but Nova has 12 fouls, MU has 9.
Tough for six guys to beat a more talented team, but free throws are ugh again.
NOVA is 11 for 14. MU is 4 for 10, with Taylor missing a frontend one/one. Not going to do it when miss those freebies.
Luke and Steve are so much better when they're on the court together.
Considering we are playing 6 guys, pretty remarkable we are not getting whipped.
Just saw the halftime show. Can we go back to kids playing basketball?
JJJ and Derrick have been good so far. Duane seems out of it.
Game would be close if we were not so incompetent at the line
Not the start we were looking for in the 2nd half...
Pinkston against Sandy is like Lebron against Brandon Knight.......
MU jacking up threes now, against NOVA jacking up threes.
Will we win another game this year?

Will we win another game this year?
Wanna get the best draft pick we can get at this point.
Oh, sh.t
Just painful to watch such a depleted team.
Nova 10-16 from three. Needed them to be about 5-16 for us to compete
When is cbb gonna go to a draft?
This is the year imo.
Fisher and Henry are going to do some real damage.

We still need a pg and a few guys who can hit jumpers. Nova is lighting us up from the three.
Even though we're getting our a$$ handed to us, I'm impressed with how we're playing with only 6 guys. If only we could hit free throws we'd be in the game.
Not the reason for losing but there are some phantom foul calls on us.
Agree, free throws are so important and when you keep missing it just deflates you.

We're definitely not getting the home court treatment.
At this point, I almost call a timeout and spend the entire thing talking to the refs. Some brutal calls today. The assistants can coach the boys for 30 seconds.
Nova with 16 fouls, MU with 13.
MU is 8 for 16 fits with a frontend miss, just terrible.
With six guys and with Derrick on offense, just too much of a task. With Juan and some made free throws, it would have been closer than 17 now and maybe over 20 by game's end.
What does playing close do for us? I don't see any of our players developing this year, we got a bunch of skinny guys that can't shoot.
Keep fighting boys, Holy sh.. a three by derrick
Playing zone may keep us closer.
Wojo better learn how to teach man to man in the off season
Again, we're playing pretty good for having 6 guys against the no. 6 team in the country. We just don't have the numbers or the horses....until next year. It would help to add a couple more playas.

Players have definitely developed this year.

Last two possessions MU doubled and Nova made nice cut passes to open players. Stay with zone and they make threes, can't win either way.
Sweet move by JjJ. Nice to see him step it up.
Too many fouls in man, this team is better in zone
Kind of sad looking at the bench with seven minutes left and seeing one guy not in a suit or warm-ups.
Ticky tac fouls both ways. But we can't hit FTS.
And another front end missed. Wow

And then swings the momentum back to Nova
How many dckinf times are we gonna give up dribble drive to the hoop?
Awful call
JJ has put together a heck of a game. Finally found that deep shot too.
HOW CAN THEY MISS THAT ARM BAR ON FISCHER?

His shooting form is entirely different than the beginning of the year. He is looking really good now.
That 4th foul on Fischer is a perfect opportunity to suspend someone for flopping.

Best game of year so far 18 points. 5 assists.
12 pt game. 11 point difference at the FT line.
Especially since NOVA should have been called for the foul beforehand when they were hanging onto Fisher. The NCAA needs to improve it's officiating. That said, shooting 50% from the foul line and missing numerous front-ends has cost MU the game. It's completely unacceptable for college players to shoot that poorly. Each player is responsible for fixing that on their own.

13 for 23 with three front ends missed so far.
There goes Chief.
This team has some good days ahead next year.
Cheese and rice...
THE TWINS!
The walk-ons!
Take that wojo ! Forced to put the twins in.
Perfect box out, walk-on!
GET HIM THE BALL!
Bah.
Should have shot free throws, it was over the back.
Duane chucks up 3 threes when the kid should have got one shot off. Terrible

Ended 15-25 with another missed front end. Nova was 28-36 at line and 52% from 3pt vs 34% for the Warriors. Bottom line, we were out-shot.

Sandy, Duane, Luke, and JJJ are a good foundation. Hopefully Steve has a monster senior year, Wally surprises, Henry is as versatile as we hope, Cheatham can play some PG, Wojo lands another PG, and Heldt is good enough to give Luke a breather.
But Wojo grabbing a few more guys would be nice (other than the aforementioned PG)

Wasn't a stellar day for Duane. I thought just about everyone else played above average today. Maybe Sandy was only average, but I'd give him a BC
