Despite only averaging only 2.8 ppg in 4 games-----SN is scoring more point per minute (6 mpg) than all but a handful of the lottery picks from the 2006 draft!

The thing I don't understand is how Van Gundy went from thinking Novak is a huge pickup and will be a notable weapon that the defenses will have to take into account, to not playing him (even in Milwaukee with the Novak chant!) and forgetting that he's even on the bench.

I remember reading something over the summer about Van Gundy not knowing who he was going to START, and Novak was in the hunt. All I know is that TMac has never seen a better shooter than Steve, and in my book, that means more minutes!
