Title: Disturbing news, re...Student Tickets
Post by: GOMU1104 on November 21, 2007, 07:47:47 AM
While enjoying the domination last night, my girlfriend and I were discussing the upcoming UWM game. During that conversatio she mentioned that a bunch of her UWM friends have gotten a hold of STUDENT TICKETS to sit in the student section for that game. I was, and still am, appalled.

STUDENTS: Please dont let those "fans" filter into our student section. It was bad when I saw red shirts in it last year...if you know of anyone who is doing this, let em have it! Make them buy nosebleed seats so they can sit up in the rafters with the rest of the faithful.

REMEMBER...friends dont let friends sell their tickets to d-bag fans!!

Looking at the facebook alone...since the beginning of the season at least 20-30 tickets have been sold on there. Maybe the MUAD will stop with the empty threats of asking for MU IDs and just do it already.

And while it is the student's right to sell the ticket, maybe that clause should be tweaked a bit as the ticket prices escalate in the upcoming years.

At least the UWM students will probably wear gold and visually fit right in.

Just to play devil's advocate: Can you blame a college student for parlaying a ticket for more bones than they paid for it?

yes. I can see selling people with tix that don't want time selling to MU students, but do not sell to the opposition.
