HEY GUYS, TOM FROM DESPLAINES HERE. I GOT A QUESTION, MY FRIENT: HOW DARE WOJO TEACH SOMEONE A LESSON AND THEN WHEN THE GUY LEARNS FROM IT REWARD HIM!? I WILL HANG UP AND WAIT FOR YOUR RESPONSE, GUISE.

Obviously you all have never played high school basketball. JJJ is only playing to raise his stock and transfer to a better program where the coach won't bench the clearly better player. Inside he is furious at wojo for attempting to team him a lesson. It's the other less talented players that need to be taught a lesson.

God any radio show that takes callers is worthless.
Wojo is finally listening to Ners. Now, when is he going to reinstate Mayo?

They say JJJ is playing tonight.

How bizarre. Did MU also Tweet after Sandy Cohen didn't get any action in DePaul game he'd be playing?
Glad to hear JJJ is going to play. Hopefully all is resolved and JJJ gets more minutes and shows he's deserving, and far from awful as some here seem to think.
Start acting like the 27th best player in your class!!!

I like that phrase! Wojo clearly punished the entire team by benching JJJ so the peer pressure would team him a lesson similar to a blanket party!
I guess the cynic in me isn't so sure we double checked that JJJ is out of the doghouse before using this graphic.

Sandy wasn't being disciplined. JJJ was.
Hope he has a big game - St Johns is athletic so we're going to need him.

Yes, but the reason Cohen sat out was different. Wojo simply decided not to play him (and admitted in the post-game he should have) whereas he specifically said that Jajuan was out because of conduct.
In Sandy's case, there was no need for an announcement because there wasn't a condition to him not playing. For Jajuan, there was a condition, so the announcement informs people that the situation has been remedied.
Based on the little we know now, it would seem the coach's devious plan to get more effort out of Jajuan worked.
Or he's transferring and just wants to play a few games to get the attention of other coaches before he goes.

Jeez. No one actually tweeted that JJJ is going to play tonight. The gameday picture has JJJ on it, that's why people are saying he's playing. Maybe he's not? I dunno. It's not bizarre.
No one said he was awful.

It did say "gameday for @chosenjuan", seems to indicate he'll play. But agreed it isn't like Wojo tweeting "JJJ will be back".

Right. It was more in contrast to Ners' freaking out about the difference between this and Sandy. Conspiracy theories abound.
Here was the whole conversation between Wojo and JJJ
JJJ: Coach why did I not play against Xavier
Travis: You don't have to answer that question!
Wojo: I'll answer the question. You want answers?
JJJ: I think I'm entitled to them.
Wojo: You want answers?
JJJ: I want the truth!
Wojo: You can't handle the truth!
Son, we play a game that has baskets, and those baskets have to be guarded by men with heart. Who's gonna do it? You? You, JuJuan Johnson? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for playing time, and you curse the coaches. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that the loss to Xavier, while tragic, probably saved other games; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, wins games. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that bench -- you need me on that bench.
We use words like "boxout," "defend the paint," "slap the floor." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a ball and defend the post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think you're entitled to.
Ok maybe not exactly:)

Don't forget the rest. He ordered the Code Red because we want him and need him on that wall, because deep down that is how we all feel. While we are at our Georgetown cocktail parties.

I don't think anyone here thinks he's awful. I think they think that JjJ is getting 21 minutes a game and that's about what's right based on his and his teammates' performance.

Kudos to those who had took the time to explain the differences between the two scenarios, i.e brew...lord knows I don't have the patience to do it.
But honestly, did you not understand the differences to begin with??
