Are there any McGuire shrines in NY? I think I read the original pub was no longer in existence, but it wouldn't surprise me if another bar, perhaps run by some family friends of old, were a goldmine for cool memorabilia.

Can't make it this year as I have a game to coach myself tonight.  Have a cold one for me!

From the Marquette Club of New York:

MU vs. ST. JOHN'S (@ MSG!)

Come watch St. John's take a beating from the Golden Eagles right here at MSG! And be sure to come early for the pre-game at Mustang Harry's. For those of you who decide not to buy game tickets, join the pre-game and stick around the bar to watch on TV with your fellow alumni.

Where: Mustang Harry's (5:30pm pre-game) / MSG (7:00pm tipoff) [Not to be confused with nearby Mustang Sally's]

Address: Mustang Harry's @ 352 7th Ave. (btwn 29th St. & 30th St.) / MSG @ 34th St, Btwn 7th & 8th Aves

Nearby Subways: 1/2/3, A/C/E, N/Q/R, B/D/F/M, and Penn Station

Date/Time: TONIGHT! Wednesday January 21st, pre-game @ 5:30pm and tipoff at 7:00pm ET

Tickets: Ticketmaster, StubHub, or day-of purchases are the best options

About a 15 min walk to the Garden, they only serve Belgian beers, and solid food on top of it if looking for another place to enjoy a few before the game.

I'd have to say that Applebee's takes the cake in NYC. Don't miss it!
