Stainedpants and Fischer should be an interesting matchup. Might be our chance to steal a nice road win in front of a big crowd.

Do not feel great about this one. X coming off two losses, 9-0 at home, sold out crowd, we're 0-3 on the road, etc. On the other hand, let's see if we can parlay that cardiac victory on Wed night into some sustained success. A win today gets this team thinking tourney again. Big opportunity--big because it will be a very tall order. Go MU.

I like the optimism but X did beat the Hall and Georgetown by wide margins. Losses to 'Nova and Butler are no surprise. Fischer does not match up well with Stainbrook's strength. Our last outing was one of the worst of the season. We are 9.5 point underdogs. Can we win?  Sure, anything is possible.

Would love to see if Fischer could stay out of foul trouble this game....won't be easy.

He keeps his hands straight up, but then like to just crash his body into the shooter. Keep the feet still and let the height do the talking!

One of the best offenses in BE play versus the best defense.  Conversely, the worst offense in BE play faces one of the worst defenses. On the road, I'd rather have the best defense.

MU, who started the year with a horrid shooting defense, has not allowed an opponent over .500 eFG% since the Michigan St. game. Luke and the zone has a lot to do with that. The length of opponents' possessions has risen with the use of the zone, limiting looks. If MU can slow X down, and MU has a decent eFG% shooting game for once against x's crap defense, MU can get a roadie.

Stainbrook does tend to get into foul trouble as we saw last year at the BC.  Hopefully, Luke can draw some fouls.

That third foul to start the second half against Creighton was so puzzling. He seemed resigned to committing that foul and it was absolutely crushing. Has to clean that up. Choose your battles.

Xavier not so good with their transition D. Need to see Juan, JJJ, Duane, and Luke running the floor when it allows.  Hope we run our break better than DePaul,.GTown, & Creighton games. A lot of poor passing decisions
