I don't recognize the guy who sits baseline, next to the team at home games. Seems to be there a lot, must be 6'8" or so, thus my assumption he is a former player or somehow interested in MU hoops.
Anyone know who that is? He was siting next to the strength coach last night.
Not talking about the ripped dude sitting behind the bench last night.
Probably Robert Jackson.
If it is him, as he used to sit in that area, he looks completely different and has lost 40 pounds.
It could have been Marcus Jackson.
Rob was on baseline. Marcus was about 5 rows up behind the bench.
Wow. Rob has lost some serious weight then. Looks very different.
Marcus looks to be in incredible shape.

He's been continuing his work on his point guard skills at your local YMCA.
Looks to be in better shape than when he played.

They both still ball, but Rob is a little gimpy with a bad knee. Marcus is in unbelievable shape and probably would still be playing abroad if not for his young family. He played in Mexico about a year and a half ago. His very young son is going to be a baller, you can book it. Marcus also trains players at Princeton Club if anyone has a young post players looking for instruction. Even with a bad wheel, Rob is a good player in pick-up. Unlike his MU days, he has a solid 3-point jumper which is almost unblockable because he releases it so high. Even a jumper like McKay couldn't get it.

Marcus is at the Princeton Club all the time, chat with him from time to time, great guy and is really doing a lot of good things. The guy is physically impressive, but definitely puts in the work.

Or point guards.
Maybe one day Marcus's and Dwyane's sons can team up at MU. That would be fun.

Rob has a son and step son who are just entering AAU as well. Kids who grow up in and around the gym because of their dads just seems to soak up the game and get a real head start.
Fyi-- it's cool that that you guys are checking out dudes at the MU game. Different strokes for different folks.

Since we have 8 practice players (plus two walk-ons) can MU invite or pay Marcus to help in practice? Ditto Jackson ... Him posting up against Luke can only help Luke.
Are their any rules to prevent this?
