Really, yesterday there was way too long a discussion about Marquette's assistant coaches not all wearing matching shirts, some were striped, some weren't and Crean was wearing a different color altogether. Then today, I lost count of how many times Crean's shirt/jacket/windbreaker was discussed. And now, more comments on the Duke polo shirt budget.
I think I found three candidates to replace Joan Rivers at the next big red carpet event!
There's dead balls and other lull moments to fill in with commentary. Plus they're all in Hawaii and just having a good time.
It's funny stuff, I mean you can't have CONSTANT game commentary. I mean, the last minutes of our win against OSU were relatively boring, so what else are you gonna talk about?
I loved the Jay Bilas 2008 March Madness cuts they had! I was rolling!

The shorts put it over the top for me
I liked the fact they modeled 20 year old Bilas off of 40 year old Bilas and didn't change a thing! Not even the hair!
I think its pretty clear that Bilas, Raftery and McDonogh enjoy each other's company and were having a good time. I enjoyed the broadcast and found McDonough to be particularly comical. The Bilas thing was hysterical.
That said, I'm sure I'll be annoyed tonight as they'll continue to talk about Duke as the model program that others pray to be someday. Thank God Vitale won't be calling the game!

That's awesome baby!
In all fairness though he does compliment Marquette more often than not in various media outlets.
Those guys have to call how many games involving the same teams over the course of three days? The fact that they are able to fill the time as well as they do should probably be reason to compliment them, not crticize them.
Expect some video game filler tonight as Duke beat Marquette in a computer simulated game 91-81 and Maurice lost to Jon Scheyer in a video game tournament between a player from each team.
