It's (was :P) the only thread that is wholly light hearted and positive. A little levity on this board is a good thing and you're killing the one pure thing! FYI - the government agents were the bad guys in ET, Sensei John Kreese was the bad guy in Karate Kid, Unicorns are good (as are all but one Leprechaun...which is evil), you can decide for yourself if Ewoks are good or bad.
Trey Deuce Maurice almost got my vote, and would have if he ever goes by the formal, but Avery Dingman received my vote simply for the sophomoric humor potential.

Coach Josh Pastner has faced some challenges this season. Memphis is struggling. But he's still coaching a guard named Pookie Powell, who would have been a perfect fit for the ABA.

The Bulls' freshman guard is from the Bronx, where he was obviously a superhero. His name is a "Jeopardy" answer.
5. Jaron Blossomgame, Clemson
He's averaging 13.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game for the Tigers. But even without the numbers, he'd still be the coolest cat on the court.
6. Scoochie Smith, Dayton
Where do you begin with this one? Not only is he playing well for Archie Miller's crew (9.1 PPG), he has the best name in the Atlantic 10. Be honest. You either have a friend named Scoochie or you wish you had one. He's also from the Bronx, where all babies are given wonderful names.
7. Biggie Minnis, Rhode Island
"Ready to Die" by the Notorious B.I.G. -- a.k.a. Biggie Smalls -- was/is the greatest rap album of all time. That's really all you need to know about the beauty of this Rhode Island guard's name.
8. Parker U'u, San Diego State
The sophomore walk-on guard transferred from Hartford because he wanted to be a baller in California instead of Connecticut. And when you have a two-letter, Samoan last name that means "to hold something," you can do whatever you want.
9. Goodluck Okonoboh, UNLV
His father got shot in the chest when his mother was pregnant with him. He nearly died in the hospital. His father, Sylvester, said he fought for his life because he wanted to see his son live. That's how his parents came up with "Goodluck." Okonoboh wears No. 11. Of course.
10. Andrew Andrews, Washington
You know how hard it is to come up with a baby name? It can be a lengthy and complicated process. Not for Andrews (11.9 PPG) and his family. Whoever named him kept it simple. You have to respect that.

I deliberately misspelled the URL so as to not give Myron the benefit of page clicks, but when I saw it was still sending to the correct page (and keeping the URL in the browser), I decided that because the "misspelled" URL is certainly going to show up on an IT report somewhere, it was worth 100x whatever the marginal "value" of a few page clicks is.
