Late 3rd quarter, Jae has 19 pts, 3 rebs, 3 ast and just had a fantastic block from behind on Tyreke Evans.
Game is on NBA TV.
Yeh we'd all rather watch the celtics take on the flamingos not like there's a championship game on or something.

Hoops vs the sport that's ruining hoops rivalries. Hoops wins.
Pretty soon he'll be in line for JFB money, hey?

I like college hoops better than college football but come on I'm watching the title game over a worthless nba game

Glad to see that Jae is doing well again. I think he has a real future with the Celtics.

Give me the NBA any day over that turnover fest masquerading as college football. If those are the two best teams, it's been a very down year.

im assuming you watched the
Fb game then since you know it was a turnover festival.
Mathews and Butler are going to get PAID this off-season. Would be pretty neat if Jae put together a solid season and got himself some money too. Big year for MU free agents.

Well played
That trade might very well turn out to be a good thing for Jae.
Glad to hear Jae is making the most of his opportunity. When he was included in the trade I had fears he might have simply been a cap balancer to be cut later.

Others have mentioned, and I think it makes sense, that Crowder may be benefiting somewhat from Stevens' familiarity with him based on their years in the BEast. Glad to see him have this chance. Go Jae!

Glad I saw Jae's best NBA game yet, instead of the "turnover festival." I read that guys were running along and just dropping the football without even getting hit, and receivers were dropping passes that hit them in the hands? Sounds like an epic game....

I'm always on the side of ignoring minor league football.

What years in the BEast? Stevens left before butler was in the big east and the games against butler were during our elite 8 year.
I stand fully and absolutely corrected. Wow, I have this clear image of playing Butler during Crowder's time. Wrong.
Maybe I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

Started to, but soon bailed. Thanks for the concern.
I watched most of the game and Jae is becoming a fan favorite with his energy and "Celtics" (Marquette) style of gritty play. Jae has become a leader of this young and new look team with Brad Stevens showing a lot of confidence in him. I look forward to getting a Crowder #99 (awesome number) jersey later this year when they become available!

The c's also just traded the guy ahead of him on the depth chart. A great opportunity for him. M

Although they don't have any big name stars, and they haven't won a ton of games I love this celtics team. We have a ton of young talent and I think Jae is part of a core group of role players that will be real solid in the future. If we add a couple stars to go along with Jae, Bradley, Sullinger, Olynik, Smart, and Zeller we could be a competitor. I think Stevens is one if the best young coaches in the NBA. We just need to use our plethora of future picks wisely. However Jae's future with the celtics is definitely uncertain because there will be a ton of roster turnover over the course of the next few years because of all the picks. Hopefully he sticks around and continues to play well.
Great game for Jae. As I mentioned when he was traded that I expect the Celtics would be a great opportunity for him. Yes, he is short for his position but he plays good and hard D. If he continues to develop his 3, he will have a home and move into some real money. I know I will be rooting for him.

Stop being so ignit. Some people just don't wanna watch college football. There are literally at least 9 others sports I'd rather watch. I thought the playoffs would help me get more interested, but it still didn't do it for me. But to each their own.
Congrats to Jae though. Heck of a game, hope he can keep it going!
