Title: MU alum love on ESPN
Post by: WarriorPA on January 10, 2015, 12:00:53 AM
Watching the end of the Cavs-Warriors game tonight and caught a great MU alum shoutout from Jeff Van Gundy:

Suggested the Cavs go after the hardest working players available in free agency this summer, then named Jimmy followed by Wes and Draymond Green.

Thought sharing this was worthy of a first post...excited to join the board, Go Warriors!

Wes would be a good fit, but I don't think there's any chance Jimmy leaves Chicago.

the Cavs franchise is a black hole...hopefully neither Jimmy or Wes land up there.

wouldn't the Cavs really have to dump some salaries to fit another $10+ million contract?
They're in the 80's for this season and the cap is around $63 million.

Yep, never let the salary cap get in the way of game commentary, Mr. Van Gundy.  Still, a great shout out to Marquette alums.
