What are the odds that we get to see the newest Warrior today? I get the sense that if Wojo can't get him in against Morgan State it could be a while before he sees the floor.
He hasn't been on the bench the last couple of games. Are we sure he will even be there today?
After not seeing him the past couple of games, I've been wondering if he's mostly a practice player who might only get to suit up for games if injuries hit....
who's thaus? didn't see him on scoop wiki, but dawson and burton are still listed w/o asterisks
Semi Ojeleye to SMU

You could update the scoop wiki too!
No longer listed on the roster.
Must have just happened today because he was on there this morning.
Maybe we found a new 10th man for practice.

Weird the header for the roster page says
"$year-yy Roster"
Might be an error somewhere.

He hasn't suited up since the semester ended and they announced his promotion to the roster. Read the tea leaves that he is not part of the roster versus it is an IT issue.
Squirmy
I was kind of assuming he went home for the break.
Well that didn't last long. Not that it matters, but I am curious what happened.

So after just being named to the team, he would go home for winter break?

Not if he wanted to be part of the team, of course. Maybe that was the rub. If you are on the team, you are on the team and have to do everything just like a full scholi player!
Methinks they just saw a complication with that #8strong hashtag everyone affiliated at MU seems to want to push. Didn't want to add *plus a walk-on. :D

Wasn't he already a student assistant though? Would that job already require staying with the team during break?

I don't see that being a requirement, that would take a lot for a kid who's not playing, get's no recognition from anyone but players and coaches (and sometimes not them), while paying their own way. Do they even get paid for being an assistant? I can't see to many coaches telling the student assistants they need to stay for a full month on a ghost campus.
I'm pretty sure student assistants are paid like a regular student job, and that they are generally required to be around when the team practices.
I never thought about student assistant's being paid. I assumed they might be on scholarship. Assuming they are paid or on scholaship, would it make the walk on ineligible to actually play. I could see a rule against this. Otherwise, instead of Fischer having to pay his own way last year, they could of made him a student assistant.
Or Buzz coulda adopted him, hey?

That's kind of drastic. I don't think he'd need to adopt the kid just so he will flush the toilets.
I don't know exactly what Thaus' role was but I do know that student managers do not get paid or recieve scholarship. They get a bunch of team apparel(backpacks, Tshirts, jackets, shorts) and they have the opportunity to live in Humphrey hall for free as juniors and seniors.

Student managers do get paid on top of the perks
Maybe he wasn't getting enough PT.
His dad thought he should be playing the 2.
So where did Thaus go? And where did the twins come from? although I like the 2 for 1 addition.
They looked as big as anybody other than Luke.
And it made the end of our bench not look so empty
Someone said Thaus who was a team something or other before just thought being on the team would take more time than he had thought. So Wojo asked the twins to join who were helping the women's team in some capacity.

Probably not the fantasy about twin college students that most of y'all have.
Nicely done, just surprised as heck to see them on
the end of the bench
