There has been debate about whether Fischer is an "aircraft carrier". As an out-of-towner, I have yet to see a game live this year, and I am curious as to how tall he actually is. In the high school recruiting stuff, he was listed as 6'9". Now he is listed as 6'11". I found another website listing him as 6'10".
Did he grow, or is this just a difference in billing? Are there any official measurements? How big does he "look" in person? This matters for his NBA potential, and hence how long we might keep him.
He's tall enough.
Thanks for satiating my curiosity. :)
I don't know how tall he is but he looks more like 6-9 than 6-11 (maybe his proportions). But so far he plays like a 7 footer which is all that matters.

I don't know about that. If we're lying about his height than ASU and AA&M also lied about their centers' heights. Luke was taller than ASU's Jacobsen and AA&M's West who are both listed at 6"10.

I think we'll keep him for two more seasons.
