As Al used to say "You can't Coach height"
And next year we can go 6'11", 6'10", and 6'9" up front.
You mean we can go 6'10", 6'11" and 6'10, don't you. Unless all three grow taller (like the Badgers grew in the last year).

Seems to me your list has the taller options, not his.
After last nights game, I couldn't help thinking that I need to eat better, exercise more and drive the speed limit because I don't want to take any chances that I will not be around to see next season.
Oh yeah, and my daughter's high school graduation too.
I hope Henry had a chance to watch on TV.

I hope Semi, Davon Dillard, Marcus LoVett, Rick Council, and Deshawn Freeman had a chance to watch on TV ;D

+1 ;D
Never having seen Fischer play before, I had no idea what to expect.
Anybody else's hopes for him drop 100% when he booted that first entry pass in a very uncoordinated looking manner?
Was thrilled to see that was just a hiccup and the kid can obviously play. Not real athletic, but great feet and defensive positioning and a deft touch around the hoop.

I think you'd be surprised by how athletic he is if you saw him on the volleyball court...

Agreed with Wade. He's pretty damn athletic. Never saw him play volleyball though. Was he all state Wade?

I was surprised. What a great novelty for MU. A center who is athletic
and possesses great basketball skills.

Sadly we are not even interested in Semi

Not sad at all. Wojo knows what he wants.

I didn't know he was a volleyball player, but that totally fits with some of his play on Tuesday--some of his instincts/reactions/timing on defense and rebounding make a ton of sense as a former volleyball player. He must have been one hell of a middle hitter.

Scariest part is (and why I say you would be surprised at how athletic he is if you saw him play volleyball) he played right side.

Albeit it may have been the weakest All State team in a very, very long time. But Luke was a legitimate volleyball player, and had he played from a young age and focused on it he would've absolutely been a big time division 1 recruit.

Maybe we should re-label his shot blocks as SPIKES going forward?

Wow--as a 6-11 opposite hitter, that's even scarier. And yes, shows just how athletic he is, to be able to do that.

Just found this article that talks about Luke and volleyball, and how he developed that lefty hook shot (feel free to ignore the I4 references--otherwise, a real nice read): http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/2013/12/30/indiana-university-basketball-luke-fischer-tom-crean/4252813/
Gotta be a quick learner to become an all-state volleyball player after only playing for two seasons.

Devin Harris played only his senior season at Tosa East and was First Team All State I believe. And there were some really good players playing then.
I think Jamil Wilson may have been First Team All State his senior year, but he played for more than 1 or 2 years.
