His seats have been occupied by others. Is he on the outs?
Changing of the guard across all avenues of leadership.
Even Rob Frozena is missing in action,
Look for him tonight at the Garden with Cords bein' athletic supporters for Turtlehead.
Got me on that one. I didn't get it.
No longer a Friend of the Program.
He was at the Badger game in his front row seat.
FWIW, I heard he was all in on Shaka and then wasn't up to speed on Wojo, especially when MU pulled the trigger. Not sure I believe that, but that's what I have heard (back in May).

I wouldn't be so sure...
He is still a major financial supporter. Put up some dough for the recent locker room remodel.

Cool. That doesn't make Dr. B wrong
Yes, it does , He's been in his ski house doing his second favorite thing (after MU), hitting the slopes. Also been busy wheeling and dealing at baraboo.

Strong isn't like that.
I think people are confusing a "FOB" with major donor. DS will always be civic and business minded, especially when it comes to Milwaukee. But I think at his age and with the recent MU history, one gets weary of the crap. He just isn't going to be as directly involved behind the scenes but will still be open to writing checks for worthy causes.
But, the Heartland Funds sponsorship in the MU Athletics website are not there or with with as much frequency if you notice, for example. Take it for what has been alluded here on both sides as to his involvement--which has been generous--for what his is worth or not. He isn't and never will be big on public proclamations.

Cords loved him as well. Said he had the most impressive interview of the last three hires the school made. Doc Rivers also gave high regards based on his son's interaction with him.
Dick Strong is looking into why we did not land Austin Grandstaff.

What do expect an AD (or acting AD) to say when announcing a hire? "Better than Buzz but not as prepared as TC"?
