Title: Butler

I don't know how we finish in front of Butler this year unless Luke is truly a game changer.

Seriously?

They are not that impressive.

The type of team where every game will be close.

They have 2 outstanding players and a better coach than last year, but I think MU will be as good if not better.

I think Butler will be one of the stronger teams in the league. So if we finish above them it will be a good year. Luke will be a game changer. His presence is going to make it a little bit easier for all our players to take advantage of space. I think on the margin that will allow us to be a much stronger overall team.

Last year's head coach, Brandon Miller was granted a season long leave of absence for health related reason.  The specific health reason has not been disclosed.  This happened a few days before Midnight Madness in October.

At the same time Butler announced Chris Holtmann, an assistant hired last year as "interim head coach"  Note that "interim" is clearly part of his title.  Holtmann was previously head coach at Gardner-Webb.

Yes - I knew he is an interim coach. I am not a fan of Miller's coaching.

Based on last season's turd and playing well so far, if Holtmann turns it into a nice season a buyout of Miller has to be on the table, no?

Assuming Miller even returns.  When a young guy like Miller announces he needs an entire year off for health reasons, that does not sound good.

I hope I'm overstating the case.

Saw several Butler games last year and he looked like a guy on the edge emotionally. Don't know if that is the reason
