To help with its inner-city reading program. Awesome stuff.

That's nice of him and all, but was he wearing Indiana U. shorts when he signed the check?
-
I hope that once the stigma of Lebron has worn off, people go back to noticing what a genuinely good guy Wade seems to be.

Most people don't think Lebron has any stigma.

I was trying to work in a shorts joke, but couldn't come up with anything...

It'll probably help more if he stops doing stuff like this:

AS long as they keep blowing the whistle, they really have no reason to stop.

How much has he gifted IU? After all, he owes his entire being to T-Cubed, aina?

Lebron Stigma???
What Stigma does Lebron Have? ooooo You meant the Stigma of being best in world?

Really? There is no need for that in the game. Watch soccer if you like people flopping and faking.

I may have phrased it wrong with "stigma".
I thought that Wade caught a lot of negative fan attention for the whole Lebron to Miami stretch. And yes, I agree Lebron is the best in the world. And like many "best in the world" can be polarizing. Lots of people love him, and lots of people don't. The latter crowd was especially large during his time in Miami.
Really? There is no need for that in the game. Watch soccer if you like people flopping and faking.
I 100% agree with you. But unfortunately, one player isn't going to change the dynamics of the league.

<sigh>
Can't we just be happy that he made a nice gift to a worthy cause? Why all the criticism?

Agreed Sultan. The guy does a lot for charity, but still some clowns bash him. And speaking of a shorts joke, some of those jokes are "short" on humor.

He does not owe crap any one. He made himself. Yes he is indebted to MU and Crean for looks and breaks he might have gotten but so did a lot of other players!
And he made the most of his opportunity and so did MU. He was and is great for the University and the University was great for him and is still linked and synonymous with him even when they announce his alma mater before EVERY NBA game...
