It's the third game of a rebuilding year, with a first year head coach, little depth, no height, and little experience. This "division 2" team barley lost to Iowa and UNLV at away games (8 and 3 points each) both of those teams were better then Marquette is right now. There is still an entire season ahead to improve.
Lets focus on the positives. It didn't look ugly -like so many games last year- the offense looked very good even though the 3 pointers were not falling. Derrick Wilson had 17 points!!! Even though most of the shots looked ugly. This was an actual team effort on offense. The players are starting to play with each other.
Remember you first need to learn how to fail to succeed. We can hope that this is the worst lose of the season.
I do agree that people need to relax but if you're going to point out "close" losses let's not forget they just lost 98-74 in their last game to the University of Seattle. Not exactly a powerhouse program there.
It's also college basketball. Some games you're going to get blown out. It's the fact that they didn't get blown out by two decent teams that draws attention.

But you are looking at last season. This season they beat Marquette and Central Arkansas and lost by 24 to the University of Seattle.
