Is Derrick dressed?
anyone got a stream? I was expecting it to be on ESPN3 but no dice.
Steve is pathetic on bunnies
Haha this season is just gravy.
JJJ is gonna be so damn good as an upperclassmen.

I'm sorry...but we look pretty damn good out there!
So far so good.

I Like that we got some good looks though.
Really like how our coach has lots of big game experience.
JJJ being aggressive offensively.

Finally! Carlino hits and they miss!
Anybody else really like how Wojo greets guys when they come out of the game and are heading to the bench? Usually a high-five, and seemingly always at least an acknowledgement. A far cry from the typical "I can't see you, you don't exist" attitude most college coaches take.
I think this years mayo will be carlino. Love and hate all year due his cockiness/confidence
I'd like to see Bane get the ball now and then.

But imagine this game sans Carlino - to say we'd be screwed would be a
massive understatement..
Jeez they don't miss.
Juan doing more harm than good tonight
The Warriors will surprise a lot of teams this year. We are young but we are good!
Cute move by JJJ there...
DW looking tentative out there
Bad Juan so far
Sandy's getting schooled from that corner
I think we have 0 off rbnds
Stuck on 19 now and they still don't miss.
No one beats osu tonight. Just draining 3s
tOSU doesn't miss threes much do they?? Wow
Good news: MU has scored more points in the 1st half than a year ago...
Juan zero points
Burton zero points
Dwil played 7 minutes, no shots
Can't hit anything from outside
Getting ugly, but fighting pretty good.
Think Mr. Dawson is in the Wojo doghouse????
We look good all in all if we can shut off the 3's. They are struggling with our set half court D. Lots of turnovers. Generally handling their pressure well. They won't continue to shoot 70% from the 3. We are executing well.
Carlino is a huge asset for this team. Need Burton to show up. He's having a hard time against their zone.
This team knows where to be and what to do. Well coached but just can't execute
Hate to bring this up, and realize it isn't game-related, but holy crap is this commentator horrible.
He sounds like Frank Caliendo's impression of John Madden and forgot Frank Kaminsky during a discussion of the Big Ten's most improved player, to name just two.

thinking the same thing
I think we'll break 35. Teve's got 10, needs become a beast and put up a lot more than that for all the touches he's getting. Doubt they shoot 59% for the game and 58% from three, but they won't turn it over every other time down in the second half either.
Way too far of a last shot for Carlino to take.
Overall, not bad. OSU can't keep that percentage up on their 3s. Need to keep up the pressure and make some shots.
Honestly, not a bad half. Its weird OSU doesnt have much scores in he paint. MY god can they miss a jumper?

It looks like Carlino never met a shot he did not like.
I enjoy watching an offense that doesn't pass around the arch until 8 seconds left in the shot clock and then let mayo huck
Juan Anderson continues to provide nothing
1. OSU is better than we are
2. We continue to have teams shoot 3's out of their ass against us.
3. TG no whistles - 1st foul at 12:08 left?
4. Derrick - as much as I like the kid I hated the way he only passed (safely) around the perimeter - his feed to STJr was the best feed down low I've ever seen him do!
5. If STJr had a better % inside 2 feet, this game would be about tied.
6. Deonte in a slump - understandable.
7. I don't care about his HS ranking, I do not like JJJ's shooting form.
8. Sandy has a future.
One team was hot, one team was cold. There is no reason we can't win this game.
This is the best announcing duo I have ever heard.
If we could shoot a tad better we would be in the game.
Look at all feeds to Steve in this game. If he didn't miss the gimmes it would be a lot closer. Almost looks like rehearsal game so when we get Luke playing some of those should fall in for points. I don't know but I sure hope Deonte doesn't have the sophomore jinx. He has not looked good at all.

MU hasn't had a lot of points in transition with OSU's hot shooting...and a lot of their turnovers have led to stoppage of play instead of a break off a steal...if they start missing the threes with long rebounds, MU can get something going. Otherwise, the 3-2 zone tough for MU (good for Teve, though).
I love the fact that we have an idea and system with our zone offense. Didn't see too much of that last year.

Right. You said "nothing." Not saying he is lighting the world on fire, but he certainly is providing something more positive than nothing.
3 for 13 from three is not good.
Sort of shocked MU not in foul trouble, but OSU shooting from outside the majority of the time.
Juan and Burton scoreless. That should not continue.
MU forced 13 turnovers, yet still down seven. If Taylor had made some of those five two footers he missed, be close to a tie game.

Two free throws total in the half. None by the Bucks.
Maybe SOTG?
Damn...OSU's student section makes ours look like models. JC Penney catalog models, but still.
Carlino looks better than advertised
Team playing hard. JJJ needs to get stronger with the ball.
Sandy's defense needs some work, but I really like what he brings. He has been a real pleasant surprise.
Carlino convinced me he's a point guard. Still needs to hold off some of those long 3s
Taylor jr looking sad out there
about time DB
Burton could be really special if he wasn't such a horrid defender.
Taylor has really struggled tonight. He's missed a few chippies and dribbled the ball of his foot. He's also really slow on helping out on defense.
Hope he can turn it around to finish the game. We'll need him.
Did Carlino play European soccer at BYU?
I love Deonte but he's got to get in the game. He makes a bad turnover and then walks down the court so OSU gets a layup
Jjj and Burton not looking real good tonight.Still this team is kind of fun to watch.
Hoping the team learns a lot from this. Mainly how to execute fast breaks. We've screwed ourselves out of 6 easy points.

Was going to ask if someone's been a quick learner of the Duke flop.
I feel like it'll be a running theme all year (even when Fischer returns), but it's frustrating when you see the group struggling on the floor - and that there aren't a whole lot of options to go from the bench.
We can't have the "next man up" mentality because, frankly, we don't have anyone else to bring in.
OSU racking up the fouls...MU almost in bonus. Free throws will slow game and get MU back in it.
Downhill after the breakaway off Taylor's knee, brutal.......second breakaway for nothing
DWil in for Juan and OSU lead doubles.
I think the Burton to NBA talk should subside for awhile. He may soon be with Dawson in doghouse, no matter what potential he has.
Fighting hard, but this is great experience for the youngsters..

Agree. And those points sure would look nice on the board. Some of this is the result of this being many of the guys first big game action..and being eager to produce. JJJ got steal, then gave it right back away. JJJ missed dunk from a tough take off point/though wide open. Steve dribbling off his foot when he could have given it to JJJ for easy dunk.
Our kids are very nervous and understandably so. On the road versus a tough big ten opponent. When they learn to relax they will be ok.
Greg Oden looks like he is 40.

Agree with this. But on the whole pleasantly surprised with the team. Don't see why Juan getting rapped considering he's playing over his size. Burton not there tonight. Interesting no Dawson, even with the press. I also enjoy the announcers.
A few stops and a few buckets and we're right there. Need to finish at the rim......and not have them hit every shot
MU just having a hard time scoring and then giving up easy basket at the other end
Let's go Marquette, def can make it respectable, getting fouls

Bad transition defense.

Not too good on D. Getting beat with no help too often.

This is not a good defensive effort. First step slow, poor communication, poor rotations, and lack of effort in transition. OSU shooting better in the 2nd half off a scorching 1st.

I think they will be more fun to watch this year. However, I'd like some of the stupid low percentage 3 pointers taper off, as well as letting low posts chances evaporate with hesitating in the paint and getting double teamed. At the end of the day, I want a team that plays their butts off...this game leaves that to be desired, unfortunately. Defense is just putrid.

Agree...as expected. We forget how inexperienced this team is, especially on the road. Defensive effort can be picked up as that is where a team can get energy when not hitting on O.
We covered the line! And it was a relatively competitive game without a big man. This season is entirely about silver linings. If you can't look on the bright side just stay off scoop for a couple hours during and after games. It's not gonna be hard to complain about this team.
Backdoor cover!
Announcers hit the nail on the head. We will get better and Fischer will be a big add. Need to get Burton on track ASAP.
Feel good about the offense, not so good about the defense. There's this nagging thought in my head, something about installing the defense first...where did that come from!?!
Excited to watch Marquette again. I think we will be pretty good when the team gets a handle on playing with each other and defense improves.
11 ain't that bad. Made up some in the past few, but their starters were still in and it evened out with the meltdown in the previous stretch. Considering we played eight, including one hurt, two in their second college game, and two who basically didn't get to play last year, and we still beat the spread. Not an embarrassing loss on national television ;)
We have no interior defense. Hopefully Fischer will help in that regard.

Bingo. It's imperative to appreciate the above list being: second college game / second college game / no significant time then benched last year / no significant time last year and now benched. JJJ had a rough go tonight, as any inexperienced player could have. Duane and Cohen had very respectable lines for coming into the game having played 25 and 24 minutes of college basketball.
