Cupcake.
True, but compare this to last year's cupcakes. There was at least one scare IIRC. I know it's not apples to apples, but still...
Cupcake and Expected are both words I'd use
but promising applies to the overall outlook of the program during the current players tenure at least.

Had to look it up, but last year we only beat Southern by 7 and New Hampshire by 5 (FIVE!!)
Offensive - in a positive way!
Unencumbered - the mind games are over!

Thats a great point. UT Martin actually does have some decent players. There a number of raanked teams tonight that were playing "cupcakes" and those were within 20. This team can shoot the 3, which will be vital.
Kool-aid!
How about essential.
Wojo needed that first win.
The team had to find out how it could score.
The team had to go against someone that wanted to pound the ball inside.
Now ratchet it up three notches with Ohio State.
OS will have better defense.
OS will have better offense.
OS is playing at home.
Can't say I have been as curious about a MU team since the three amigos came on campus.
whew!
Excited, because we are now Buzzless.
The shooting and steals make me very hopeful.
The rebounding terrifies me. Get here soon Luke!
Thankful it wasn't South Alabama.
I'm not greedy, just happy to see what's happening. There will be many times during the season to worry & fret.
Promising. Solid steps forward by JJJ and Juan. Deonte had a poor game, but he will be fine. Duane and Sandy looked good in their debuts. Carlino is a solid addition. All good things.
Interior defense and rebounding is going to be a problem until Luke comes back, and there isn't going to be much that MU can do. Even when Luke gets back, I think it will continue to be THE issue that holds MU back.
But think about two years from now if Hellenson sticks around til his sophomore year. Duane, JJJ, Deonte, Hellenson and Fischer??? Wow!

New Hampshire may have been the worst game we played all year. They had some hard working guys, but not any talent. They honestly looked like a YMCA team out there.
I am encouraged by last night's game. Not that I have any expectations for a NCAA run, but I am encouraged to once again have a watchable product. If anything, I think last night magnified how horrible (and horribly coached) we were last year. And I'm a Buzz fan.
