*rubs eyes* Can it be? Timely, accurate, and informative reporting on MUBB from the Journal-Sentinel? Do I get two more wishes?

Since it is a scrimmage, did Luke Fisher and Wally Ellenson participate?  Can they participate in scrimmages?

Well, he didn't tell us what this does for our NCAA Tournament seeding, so it isn't that good.

I would prefer two of these scrimmages and eliminate exhibition games . I think the closed door aspect is good because it takes away the home / road aspect and it is pure basketball. Also We would have been better off with another cupcake versus the exhibition, at least it would count in the won loss.

More mention of Sandy Cohen.  Sure doesn't sound like a freshman; just got to campus and started working.  Hopefully seeing some results in the weight room as well.

WLC had to be an exhibition vs. another cupcake since we're already at the max on allowed games.  Though given our inability to schedule helpful cupcakes, probably for the better as well...if it's a Grambling of last year that single-handedly lowers the SOS ranking by 24 spots or whatever the egregious number was, keep it off the schedule.

They mentioned the exhibition was to also to get Wojo and the younger team into the BC for the first time before it counts, and Virginia already committed to the scrimmage from their trip last year.  It will be interesting to see if Wojo prefers scrimmages or follows Coach K and goes with two exhibitions every year once he gets to make that call.

It seems Wojo liked the experience.  His history with exhibitions comes from Duke being able to sell out Cameron for exhibitions based on this box score (http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPID=1845&DB_OEM_ID=4200&ATCLID=209292307) and what Wikipedia says capacity is (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cameron_Indoor_Stadium).

Marquette's paying to use the BC and they won't sell 15,000 tickets for stuff like Wisconsin Lutheran.  I completely agree with scheduling one this year to give everyone a test run, but I would hope that Scholl & Broeker convince him to go with two scrimmages going forward.

Pleasantly surprised to hear the Cohen is stepping up.   At 6'6, the team is going to need his size.    Very glad to hear that STjr is healthy, happy, and enthusiastically embracing the challenge of being the big man.    Ecstatic that no one got hurt.
