I mean, was there really another choice?
They must have polled me in 1979!
Late night or sober lunch. Always the best.
I always preferred the Pizza Shuttle. Nothing like having my food brought to me at 4am
Can you imagined if Real Chili delivered? They'd need 47 delivery drivers on a shift.
Love real chili but it'll always be second to Chubbys if you ask me

My apologies for the necropost, but I happened across this thread while searching for something else. For me, a solid 80% of the appeal of Real Chili was the in-store experience. For delivery, I think I would have chosen pizza pretty much every time.
If I order delivery, will Blondie personally drop it off and tell me to "mix it up, mix it up good"?
Would the delivery drivers let me throw crackers at them? If not, I'm still going to the counter....
(yeah, I was one of those guys)

Cracker throwing is no longer allowed after a brawl in like 2015.

During my stretch she was commonly referred to as "The Sea Hag."

Yikes, I wasn't one of those guys. I was in the early 90's

Exactly.
You would have to be drunk to consume spice flavored grease.
Sorry folks, that stuff is terrible. Booze makes it appealing!

Nope. I work downtown and have lunch there once a week. Sober. It's delicious.
EDIT: and it's the best drunk food in MKE

I wish. If I had a natural aversion to spice flavored grease (in all forms), I'd probably be 25 pounds lighter.

I went to that one when I lived on the East Side (many, many years ago) and Carlos Herrera of the Houston Rockets was in there. He said the team told the new guys it was a must hit on Milwaukee road trips, and it's conveniently located near the Pfister where they stay. He liked it!

That was the best part of drunken nights there! After the MU/Pitt game in 2006 a few of us went there and my wife was offering $5 to anyone who could throw a cracker from across the counter down her shirt. She only paid out once.
Man, I miss that place!

Did he have it before the game or on a non-game day? That's playing with some fire.

the night before (we hit it up after a MU game). We joked with him that he was being set up by his teammates by being sent there.
Besides, since he was a post played a little RC would be a great way to clear space in the paint.
