This over the top production absolutely disgusts me. It is terrible that this is what recruits want to be a part of. In a way I think it's pretty comical to have some rapper introduce Calipari and it just shows how low some coaches will go. I have to believe some players see past the hype and just want to go to a school to play basketball like Henry. Hopefully they are turned off by the theatrics of something like this. Super cheesy and hope MU never does something like this.

Well, Henry Ellenson wasn't interested in being part of the hype. He committed to MU and passed on a free trip to Lexington. It's like everything in life. Some will dig it. Some will be turned off.
For those who are familiar with it, Kentucky's Madness is transmitting a feed over Snapchat. I'm not sure how they were able to do it, but it's impressive because they are sending message, picture and video updates constantly over the next 48 hours to everyone in the world who has the app on their phone. I'm guessing they had to pay for it or something, but I'm sure it's reaching it's intended audience and some recruits are probably taking notice.

Yeah.... why would someone want to go where the action is?
You sound like you have forgotten what it is like to be young ;)
First time I've heard of Drake. I thought this was about the school :-\

I wonder if you'll have that same sentiment when drake is at Marquette madness next year.

I will and I hope Drake, nor any other rapper is ever a part of a Marquette Madness. I like rap music, but to have some rapper of the moment introduce your coach and then have the coach gush all over him is embarrassing. Coach Cal is a sellout, but that was established a long time ago I guess.

I don't see how it is selling out but rather good publicity. If drake wants to come to Madness you don't say no. So you must think that having Jabari judge the dunk contest was selling out too.

Do you think Cal is a Drake fan and listens to his music? I don't and to act like he is a huge Drake fan and fawning all over him to impress recruits Is a joke and is selling out IMO. Jabari was an understated participant and wasn't all about him being there. It's one thing to have basketball players being part of the event, it's another to have the latest flash in the pan rapper as your hype man.
Was all over ESPN. The event is all about hype/excitement, and I'd say mission accomplished.
I am a bit surprised no one has commented on Tubby Smith and his motorcycle mishap, given the Crean ATV incident years ago.

Nobody cares, really. You are over thinking it. Trust me, stop. And before you click Reply, just don't.
