I was unable to watch the game last night and desperately want to watch it. If anyone has it on DVD I'd really appreciate if I could purchase a copy.
I have it DVR'd .. But Rocky is the divx-guru. If not, I'll give it a shot.
I DVR'd it as well, but have no way to get it to DVD. Need to work on that for Christmas. ;)
I have the espn2 hd recording on my comcast dvr. Now just send me a 10 year old to edit and transfer to cd... ???
I need a little time this weekend to catch up on things, but copies of the CBE games will be available soon I'm sure ;)
ha, i just went the low tech route and taped it. i should get in the 21st C.
Iamthelorax...when you convert to dvd...save a copy for me will ya?..I like to watch what I missed at the game, comments and such...
Sorry I didn't get to meet Rocky and the others from MUScoops, maybe at a future game.
would love to get a copy of the MU Duke game, not only because Marquette won, but it was one of the best games I have watched ever
Lookie what I found ;D

I'll add this link on the bittorrent site tonight.....
http://muvideo.blogspot.com/
I have a few more games to do yet (77 Championship and semi final, and one 2004 game), but if anyone has any games they'd want to share, create a torrent and email the link, or send me the DVD and I'll get them up on the site.
Looks like the Texas Tech is there too...

How do I get that Duke game from bittorrent? This is new to me.
Also, looks like someone's selling the MU-Duke game on eBay. (http://cgi.ebay.com/Marquette-Golden-Eagles-Vs-Duke-Blue-Devils-free-dvd_W0QQitemZ190055235127QQihZ009QQcategoryZ24560QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Selling something like this is both wrong and rather stupid.
I will provide the first five folks to send me their name and address via the forum's message function with a DVD of the game, no charge.
(It was recorded off the HD channel so the game is in widescreen. It is setup so that it will fill the screen on a 16:9 TV or will be letterboxed on a standard set).
EDIT: I have already received five responses, so the offer's closed...at least for now.
Thanks Tampa Warrior. That's fantastic!

All you really need to do is download Azerus (it's free)....http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php
After you have done that, you simply click on one of the links on mininova that are on http://muvideo.blogspot.com/ ...when the download is completed you can either burn to DVD, or watch through a media player on your computer.

Which version of Azerus should I download? They list 2.5.0.0, 2.4.0.2, and 2.3.0.6. I'm guessing the most recent one, but want to confirm that before I put it on my computer.
Thanks
Tampa! Thanks...You have a PM.
Why do the games download SUPER slow (like < 1 kb/s)? Is it because no hosts are on or because I don't have the right port selected?
It might mean that not many folks are sharing the files right now. I'm on right now doing my share helping out with the Duke game and sharing.
:)
yeah, there must not be many users on right now...I know I'm not because I have to keep up on my fantasy football and the sharing bogs down my connection...try later on (after 10) and I'll have mine back open for everyone.

If it's super slow (like in your case), it's likely that your ISP is blocking bittorrent traffic. If you're a student on Marquette's network I know this is the case. There is a way to get around it using proxy servers (try this list - select something from north america (http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html)) - just find the option in your bittorrent client for proxy's, plug in an IP and you should be set.
I'm seeding more now .. BitComet was only uploading about 3k/sec, which was befuddling .. I just switched to uTorrent, and now it is maxing out my connection at 46k up .. BUT ..
.. you think proxies is why I have 3 people from Russia, 2 from Italy, 1 from Australia, 1 from Hungary downloading these MU games? Doesn't make a lot of sense. Sure would like to give priority to US IP addresses.
so I downloaded some torrents, and downloaded divx(a better player than a normal media player), however when I went to play the game, I had no sound, wondering if anyone else downloaded the game and went to play it and same thing happened, or maybe someone knows the answer to it?
This from the comments section on www.muvideo.blogspot.com:
QuoteTry downloading an AC-3 encoder....
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ac3encode/
or others out there (they are free)...this was the exact problem I was having a few weeks ago, after some research I found out that was the problem...now everything is fine.
-Djgoldnboy
maybe its a brain fart... but what did downloading that ac3encoder just do for me, I still don't get sound

You can with Azureus...well sort of....just manually block those you don't want to give it to. I use an add-on that displays what flag of the country they are coming in on and I can block them out from receiving if I wish.
