One of the things I like about our new staff is they recognize JJJ is key to our chances for success. He has the talent to be an elite player and they are pushing him hard.

There is only 9 scholarship players, and he is the 4th tallest through the middle of December.   They are all crucial.    Because of his relative size, he needs to expand his game.

Yes, he is one of the keys to success, but so is Taylor early on, as well as Duane. Wojo will need to figure out a line-up without a true 5 early on.

Of course, he can always play Derrick down low like Buzz did to attract those defender to him.
