Tie game 19 seconds left on ESPN2.
EDIT: Three pointer by Syracuse wins it with 5 seconds to go.
St. JOES. Too early for conference play.
Ha good call. My mistake.
St. Joe's botched the breakaway two only to tie it up...then get Flynn's only points on a tie-breaking 3 pointer with 2 sec left.
I got a brief glimpse of the game near the end of regulation....I could swear I saw Tim Higgins on the officiating crew. Wasn't he supposed to have retired at the end of last season???
Higgins was on the crew. I had no idea he was suppose to retire but looks like he is back. Should we just turn around and get back on the bus if we walk out on the Kohl Center and Higgins and Hightower are standing there waiting for us?

Without a doubt, yes.
You forgot, it's MR. Hightower ::)
Higgins and Burr officiated the Michigan State / Michigan Tech game that MSU narrowly escaped.

I find it ridiculous that we know three officials and immediately draw conclusions on the game based on that. You'd have to think the NCAA would know of such things and try and curtail it. Anyone know if the NCAA tracks officials statistically to judge their performance?
Syracuse definately looks like they have a legitimate chance to win the Big East...MU better come ready to play and not lay a crap on the floor like last year....

Because they barely beat St. Joe's?
'Cuse will be good... but I'm not sure after last night's performance you can say that they are ready to challenge for the title.
There are very few teams in the Big East (if any) that I think MU (or any other BE team) can afford to take lightly. Last year USF, which came in at 14th in the BE, beat a top-25 team.
Smart move is to prepare against every team regardless of record/standing/ranking.

I wasn't that impressed with them last night but their freshman do sound like the real deal.
Spiral is right, no team can be taken lightly. That USF team almost beat us as well!
I'll put it like this, I think Syracuse matches up very good with our MU guards...they are definately not a team to look past.
