I just bought my 8 extra tickets for the UW game. Only Level 400, but was able to get midcourt 10 rows up. Also got 4 tickets for the game at the AL, can only order by section not individual seats. I thought we could only get 2, but I was able to get 4.
That' 'cuz you're Big Daddy, aina?
What does "aina" mean? I see it here all the time. Is it a meme of some kind?
I finally met someone the other day who says ",yeah?" at the end of every sentence. She is from Iowa, though, not Wisconsin.

What sort of point totals does one need to have to be able to buy single game tickets at this point in time?
No transparency this year. I have Thursday at 9 AM. Best guess talking to others is they have a lot less tiers this year.

I would confirm those in a few days. I mistaken bought 12 UW tickets when only 10 were allowed. Even though it appeared to be allowed at the time--the ticket office took back the last 2.
Big Daddy
Upper deck? You are better than that!!!

Not everything harkens back to an internet fad.

Local Milwaukee(?) expression. I believe that it is an informal contraction of "ain't it?"
Everyone in MKE knows aina is just short for aina hey!
No lower level or lower half between end lines for any games including Wisco Lutheran???
Not sure what is going on, but either there are 15K season ticket holders this year or not all available tickets are for sale right now. Anyone have any insight on the topic please let me know. Thanks.

Probably trying to hold a bunch back for mini game packs.
The 4 game mini- plan this year is awesome. Wisconsin, Providence, Villanova and DePaul.
As long as we know who bring their warm ups, and may suit up..

Uh, no....
In all honesty I don't know what it means, I always thought it was short for "eh", or "am i right". If it's something else I'd love to hear an explanation.

I think you're in the ballpark with "eh" or "am I right." I've always interpreted it as something like "you know."
"Those were great brats, aina?" = "Those were great brats, you know?"

That's interesting, because I ran a Google search on "aina", and I literally cannot find anything describing it as a figure of speech for anything. That's what led me to believe it was a Scoop meme, but perhaps it's a Wisconsin dialect thing?

Yep. Probably even more specific to Milwaukee though, because I don't recall ever hearing it outside of the area.
Listen closely to the refrain: http://youtu.be/3kPosW3omz4
I know of zero people besides 4everwarrior who use the phrase. Never heard it before Scoop.

That being said, being raised in an entirely German household with Milwaukee roots, I never heard the phrase growing up.

Hey, that's pretty cool, I'm glad we finally got to the bottom of this. It was driving me bonkers.

At the risk of getting this thread back on track, does anyone have an update on the availability of tickets for the UW game and the game at the Al? I can buy tomorrow at noon and was wondering what to expect.

I just bought 2 tix for each of those games. The UW game of course is limited to higher rows in the upper bowl (I got 2 in row M), but there appeared to be quite a few yet available (i.e., whole rows open in the Uecker seats).
Harder to get a sense of availability for the game at the Al, because you don't get to see actual seats available. It's actually general admission in 4 categories: (1) Lower w/ chairback, (2) lower bench, (3) upper w/ chairback and (4) upper bench. Since the place is so small, I just chose upper, and I had the choice of chairback or bench.

I bought some at noon today. Got lower chairback for the Al, and the best four seats together for the Bucky game I could get was section 421, row T.
Maybe I missed it, but no one posted this update: Ticketmaster now lets you pick your seat.
It formerly just let you pick "best available" and would stick you in Row X, while Row C was available a section over .. that's why I stopped using TM and would just call the ticket office.
But now .. you can pick your seats online. FINALLY!
As for the availability of UW tickets .. there were plenty. I got some row R's in the corner. The last two UW games at the BC, they limited to 8 .. but then a few weeks later sent another email you could buy +2 more. Meaning: You will get UW tickets. Not great ones, but all STHs will get some.
I always buy the max .. I will find good Warrior fans to give them to, damnit.
Just bought 8 (12 total on 2 accounts) for Wisconsin. Also chair backs downstairs still available for Alabama A&M.

Appears that there are still plenty of UW tix available & I bought 2 lowers (bench) for Alabama A&M at the Al.
None of the mini-plans worked date-wise for my group this year so we went single-ticket route but the Wisconsin game wasn't even included in the single-game sale today, although seats are available through season-ticket plans. Some of my group of four want to go, I assume I should keep checking ticketmaster as they are probably holding them out for any future season-ticket sales?
Next year they may go back to the ability to partially customize the mini-plan. That worked really well for us.
An email went out to season ticket holders this week saying they could buy more Wisky tickets than the 8. So, I am guessing they will release more but trying to limit the Vadgers.

I agree. This was a debacle in the ticket office. I tried to work with them on getting a package I might attend due to work, plans etc., and they had nothing of it. As I told my handler in the ticket office, "We aren't Duke, yet."

I don't understand .. what was a debacle? That they didn't have UW tickets for sale?
If there's any chance any of you season ticket holders are feeling generous I would love to get my hands on a pair for the game at the Al or against Bucky. Thanks in advance for any help. Let's hope I can make this a #donedeal
