I know, not incredible news. But it would be nice to see him latch on and be a part of their young, promising core.

Edit: Better news now. Jamil was signed by the Suns.
Really hope he can land a contract. Will always be a favorite of mine for spurning Bucky for us, the shot vs. St. John's, the last 1:09 vs. Davidson, and the beastly performance vs. Butler. Also had one of the best midrange games in recent memories his junior year. Could tell he worked really hard on that and finishing around the rim, both of which paid off big time for him and us.
Call me an optimist, but I still think he has a shot at making a roster.
He HAS to be more efficient offensively (shooting the best way), and he has to be able to defend 2 positions.
I see the potential.
Jamil to sign with the Phoenix Suns.
The Wizards already have 20 players set for TC, including 6 non-roster invitees. That includes Vander Blue and David Stockton, not Vieria.

A bit funny how they flip-flopped teams.
kinda.
If Jamil plays like he did in the Summer League he has a chance with the Suns. Let's hope Vander can break through with Wizards. I think he is very close and even if he doesn't make final cut I think he will get called up again.
If only Vander stayed for his Senior year........

Just curious, what do you base that on? Intuition, or has he been tearing it up somewhere? (Can't recall if he's playing on the D-League or overseas..)
