U17 FIBA World Championships.
Did you or anyone else watch this? How did they do?
It's available now on watch ESPN. I got to watch about 2 minutes (wife's birthday today). I saw Ellenson get a steal in the backcourt, took two dribbles and a one hand dunk over the Angola player. Stone later had a rebound dunk with two hands over a couple of players.
They killed them, just about doubling the score. I just caught the last 7 minutes. Stone led the team in rebounds and missed the one shot I saw him take. They ran highlight clips at the end and there was one of Ellingson picking a guy's pocket on a press at about the free throw line and going in for a nice dunk -- they showed it on a couple different angles. I went through the ESPN-U guide and they play again on Monday at 9:30am.
Watched last night vs. Greece and Stone was amazing. Power dunks, 15 ft shots, blocks, ran floor really well and a very willing passer. Ellenson barely played but I missed the start...maybe some foul issues? He did make some nice power plays...off rebound and powered to rim. Also went strong and drew a foul and showed nice touch on 2 fts.
Hopefully Henry will come maybe diamond will change his mind
How about an Angolan or two that just block shots?

Stone is a much better player in a team concept as opposed to the run 'n gun at most of the camps.
