Title: Arizona State coming to Milwaukee on...
Post by: Windyplayer on June 11, 2014, 12:03:57 PM
Tuesday, December 16. That would have been a nice Saturday non-conference game--better than a Samford or Sam Houston State.

But, Luke Fischer will be eligible to play on 12/16.  Not so on Saturday 12/13.

Good call.  Will take that over a Saturday game.

This will not be the same Arizona State team we played last season. They lost 69% of their offense including 1st round hopeful Jahii Carson and Jordan "Canadian Tree" Bachynski. They are replacing them with a bunch of jucos...they did get Willie Atwood, number 7 JUCO in the nation, but I doubt they will be a top 100 team.

Hopefully it will be really cold out by then.  Those southwest teams don't know how to play in the cold.

One of the Jucos is 6'6" Savon Goodman who sat out last year after being booted by UNLV for off-court issues.  He was ranked 70ish in Top 100 rankings coming out of Philadelphia HS.  ASU will be strong at forward given time.
