Title: Obstructed view in the Bradley Center
Post by: DienerTime34 on June 09, 2014, 07:52:03 AM
Selecting our seats today and looking to move to the lower bowl for the first time. Just wondering if there is anywhere we should NOT sit ... For example, all of 210 is taken up expect Row Y is almost completely empty ... is it obstructed view? Any other bad angles we should avoid?

Thanks!

We were in 208 row H (I believe), and it was the first row of a new section of seating behind the hoop.  The pitch of the seats made it very difficult to see over a normal sized person.  While not obstructed by a post/railing, they were obstructed in reality.  We moved back this year...

Everyon's view was obstructed last season while Bumstead was coachin', hey?

Lower portion of Section 219 is obstructed by the band which (God bless them) stands the entire game.  Obscures 25% of the court.

You do not want to sit behind a really tall person. Every seat has the potential to be an obstructed view.

Not true. First row in the upper deck and floor seats don't have that problem. #SnarkFail

Actually the entire upper deck is so steep that you could probably sit behind Gheorghe Muresan and see just fine.

I believe the same applies to the lower rows of Section 218 closest to Section 219.  Similar "standing-student obstructions" in rows W-Z of 226 in the seats closest to the student section.

All other seats that are obstructed by rails, walls, walkways, etc. (the physical components of the building) are already "red" and denoted as obstructed view (if no donation is required and you're selecting your actual seat) or are excluded from row availability & assignment (if a donation is required and you are choosing section/row only) on the seat selection website.

You can call the ticket office if you are interested in being seated in an obstructed view seat; otherwise, you cannot select or be assigned obstructed view without explicitly stating your intention.

Quite the opposite, no?

Unless you were perched behind Mac.

Best seat in the house...by far. The uppeer deck first 3 rows. I would say 420-425 about facing the benches.

Glorious.

You better not give them up, because the first time they become able to be purchased, I'm there!

Y has alot of people moving in and out. For me I am upper deck all the way. But I am in 418-415 row D set 7 which is usually right in between some folks who are always looking back over their shoulder to talk to other fans and standing up to reach back and high five them every time someone hits an open jumper...now last year that was not a problem as much as many jumpers did not go in...lol [hint;joke] Laugh!

<Sigh, Tough crowd...>  but I would suggest what the other poster said is the area in which he sits. First row upper deck facing the bench right in the middle if you can.

If you are shy and dont want to be on TV or the video board sit as far from the 'Jump Around Guy' as you can! LOL. I heard that seats around that area are quite 'unstable' due to the wear and tear of the Avalanche or fans jumping around in that section. LOL

See how I fit Avalanche in there another cool nickname for the team if they move away from Golden Eagles or back to Warriors. I would love Avanlache. But...carry on.
