Wow, we had some exciting action, with back and forth votes, upsets, and some real vitriol! However, the Sweet Sixteen match-ups are set and some very interesting match ups have resulted....there will be blood. (correction: previous author who wrote it as Elite Eight, has been sacked...the people who hired him/her have also been sacked....the sacking will continue to the issue is resolved.)
Out of the Coaching Carousel Region, Coach____ to ____ will take on a criminally underseeded Warriors Nickname. A person could argue this is really a 1 vs 1 match-up, but that's clearly an argument the idiot that made this tournament wouldn't listen to. In the other game in the Carousel Region, it's everyone's fake but real but fake poster Hoopaloop vs IWB's fake announcement of a new coach, with #DoneDeal. So a lot of fake, should be fun.
In the Idiosyncrocies Region, it's I4(I'm too lazy to type it out, and yes you don't need to point out the irony of me typing more to explain than it would have taken to just type it out, just.....just....you shut up) vs a frisky 5 seed in Creaned/Buzzcut/Boned. Creaned has been steady but I4 is a tough contender(unlike it's namesake....oh snap!). The bottom half is a coach hatred match-up, Don't mess with happy vs Tanned Tommy. Tanned Tommy has been dominating especially as a double digit seed, taking down the 2 seed in the regional in the process. Don't mess with happy, has been just happily coasting by, doesn't it have the temperament to take on the most derisive nickname in MU history?
The Epic Meltdown Region, as the region of death, has not disappointed. Hiroshima, a strong meme champion contender has played like it through the opening rounds, but as a relative new comer will have an interesting match-up against an age old adage in the MU psyche, We can't win on national tv or with Baby Blue uniforms. As a veteran, Can't has been winning handily without exerting itself too much, does that mean it's fresh to take on the raging hate storm that is Hiroshima? In the bottom half of the region, we have KState Scrimmage and Traditionals, this really should be an interesting match-up, with plenty of quirkiness on both sides.
The Final region, Good Clean American Fun, has it all. The #1 overall all seed, ____is evil and must be destroyed, is still alive despite some cracks in the armor due to some unfortunate generation. It will be taking on the Beer Summit, a plucky little meme that seems to have generated some momentum based on favorable match-ups along the way. Can the Beer Summit muster another successful resolution of a fake fight between fake posters, or will it be destroyed due to the evil located at the heart of the summit? Haikus, a strong meme, has managed to take down one of the best nicknames in MU history, rather handily beating JFB(we all know, JFB is still the man). Walking Boot took down the giant killer in 36-0 (UWM) while in a walking boot of all things, they have a short bench due to injury but have proven they can play through it.
