I get the impression that they are more committed to Buzz than to Marquette. If CoWojo is able to reel Hill back in, how much of a priority are these two? And what else is out there? Clearly, next year's team is going to need more size.
Shayok has been on fire and a steady riser this year. Seems to be getting a lot of interest.

I live in New Jersey. I wouldn't describe Shayok as being anything close to "on fire" this year.
I would happily take them both, per the original plan. Shayock may even have reached 6'7, depending on who you believe. But I accept that may not happen.
Cohen and Hill are every coach's guys. I'm just fine with Wojo replacing Shayok and Pierce with his own guys. Actually wouldn't mind seeing who he can manage to reel in organically with a spot or two.

I would be okay with losing one if any good transfers become available or using it on someone looking to use the Grad school exception ala Black and Lockett.
As prospects, Shayok is far, far ahead of Pierce. In fact, he may be ahead of Cohen in the opinions of most at this point. He's already an excellent defender and his offense is starting to catch up to his defense. I hope we can keep hold of him.
Recruits want to feel wanted. Why start a thread like this when it's based only on speculation? It does no good and can only hurt, especially when you misspell a name.
Want them both!!!

I realized it and corrected it. Stupid fingers going too fast.

Jake is confused. He was talking about another Marquette recruit

organically????
I'd be ok with getting both, one, or neither. There are some quality JUCOs and transfers available. I would love to find a senior big man who could bridge the gap between Gardner and Fischer. But the talent in the 2014 class is pretty much spoken for.
I would be stunned if Wojo took a JUCO. More likely a graduate transfer.

Someone should let him know that Dylan Flood has a year of eligibility left.
Pierce looks like a load and no one can teach height.
But Shayock looks Luol Deng-esque.
