Why is Kentucky not pushing the tempo to take advantage of their athletic advantage instead of playing a half court game which plays right into Bo Ryan's game plan. Get your head out of your butt calipari!

Wisconsin played in arguably the best conference in the country against many athletic teams. They know how to handle anything thrown at them

Come on. The Big Ten, other than MSU and Wisconsin, was totally overrated. Ohio State was not good, Michigan was much worse than a year ago. Nebraska was improved, but this was not one of the Big Tens best years.
Wow who do you think Rex Chapman wants to win. Worst announcing job ever

Half court sets is all that has been thrown at them. The little 12 was good but not great and Wisconsin lost a bunch of games mid-season so they are hardly invincible.....put pressure on Wisconsin and push at every opportunity or lose by 10 points as Wisconsin will beat you unless you force a playground tempo to take advantage of your superior athletes.

Sorry, I cannot agree with that at all.
Michigan State, Wisconsin, Michigan were all very good. Ohio State was good, not great. Nebraska good, not great. Iowa good, not great. Minnesota won the NIT a few days ago. Northwestern, IU, Penn State all had some really good wins, but some bad losses.
I said arguably, the computer rankings seem to back it up.

Who was better than the Big Ten? Maybe the Big 12, that's it. Point is, they saw some very good teams all year long. Wisconsin beat Florida this year as well. Nothing is going to phase them.

Good spin chico.....quick with lots of irrelevant internet statistics has no true basketball knowledge yet posts 1,000's of times a year trying to convince himself otherwise.

No true basketball knowledge.....LOL. OK.
No spin, if you are capable of beating Florida, Michigan, St. John's, Saint Louis, Indiana, Oregon, Arizona, Baylor, West Virginia, etc....you're more than capable of beating teams that push tempo, just as you are beating teams like Virginia, UWGB, MU, Michigan State, etc...which they also beat.
Are you really suggesting that UW hasn't been able to deal with both kinds of opponents this year and done very well against them? Of course they have. No spin. The computer rankings aren't spin at all, no opinions there...just flat out data. Big Ten, #1 conference

Chuck Bark called you an idiot at halftime.
Anyone not cheering for UW is an idiot. Don't you guys know that it helps MUs RPI?

Mike kelly is probably the worst analyst ever. Even a good kentucky play he says "wisconsin almost had him there" blah blah blah. Pretty funny to listen to

You must be confusing B1G football with B1G basketball.
B1G football is often over-rated and not very good.
B1G basketball is very good.

Winning is solid. And I get they are the local rival. But good for Bucky. They can put an end to the annual march of thugs and what's bad about basketball. Sconnie ball might not be attractive, but its winning. Good for them.

Calipari runs a program that is a win-win for the players and the program. Most fans that don't like the one and done are selfish and unwilling to admit it.

Yeah, probably a travel....got his guy in the air, smart basketball play. Doesn't take away at all the smart play he made.
Fun game.

7 seed v 8 seed for the championship. No wonder Buffett felt confident putting that billion on the line.
Too bad that the NBA development league team won. Not a real college team imo.

So because the players are forced to be in college for a year, they're not allowed to compete against the "traditionals"?

Because that team offers them playing time, development, and championships, in exchange for the fact that everyone knows they will only be there a year. Calipari offers a brand that appeals to a lot of guys that would rather go straight to the NBA in the first place. The booster "incentives" and being at a blue blood certainly help, though.
