I don't think anything was started for this and I realize there is a lot of moving parts (e.g., JJJ, Taylor), but here is my pre- and post- Luke Fischer starting lineups assuming we have who's there now:
Pre -
F - Burton
F - Taylor
G - Mayo
G - JuJuan Johnson (a shooter)
PG - Duane Wilson
Post - (I feel pretty good about this one)
C - Fischer
F - Burton
F - Taylor
G - Mayo
G - Duane Wilson
G - Derrick
G - Walk-on TBD
F - Juan
F - Burton (by default)
C - Otule (Year 7 approved!)
Oh wait ... I forgot Buzz left.

Nice poke. But you're probably not far off from the reality there if Buzz were still here. No joke.
I think fischer can be in that Duke frontcourt player mold. Expect him to shoot a lot outside the key.
I'm going with the Post-Fischer lineup:
G- Derrick (I think Wojo tips the hat to the senior) / Duane
G- Burton
F- JJJ / possible transfer
F- Taylor
C- Fischer

Not to derail the thread, but this brings up an interesting thought that I haven't seen discussed. Fischer just transferred in and has been practicing with the team. I'm not sure what restrictions such a case might have on him, if he did want to not play for Wojo, but I'm wondering how he might be viewing this change in coaches. Does he see it as a chance to play more like a Dukie front court player (out on the perimeter), or might he worry that Wojo could shift all emphasis to guard play.
I envision and hope he'll be a strong contributor, and so hope that he seeing only positives in this coaching change.

I think Fischer is just happy to be FFC.

And FFB? And close to home without needing to go to UW?
Helluva few months for the young man!
I'm surprised the others who submitted a lineup didn't list Mayo. He is such a natural scorer and could even lead the team this year in scoring. Again this thread assumes no one transfers.
Mayo has showed so much and I believe could've done so much more if it weren't for Buzz's cockamamie lineup shifts.

I'm pretty sure everyone has said they're coming back, so what transfer should we take into account?
Post Dec. 15 starting lineup:
F/C - Fischer
F - Burton
G - JJJ
G - De. Wilson
G - Du. Wilson
As much as I think Mayo is stater caliber, I like having his scoring coming off the bench. Same with Taylor and his rebounding.

What a trivia question... who is the only MUBB player to have played for Crean, Buzz, and Wojo? A. Luke Fischer!
Mayo and burton have to start.
Especially if Derrick gets the starting gig.
NCAA Starters ;)
with students currently on roster
F/C: Fischer
F: Burton
G: Mayo
G: Dawson
G: Du Wilson
Taylor, JJJ, and De Wilson will all get significant minutes... Juan will have to play out of necessity when the refs are not holding their whistles.
A whole off season to improve and learn more about the game. I feel
Good about #2 even if no one else does.....
#WWJD - We Want John Dawson....

Without knowing now what new faces will be on the team next year, at this point if you start Mayo your bench is Dawson, Anderson, De. Wilson and Taylor. Which then means your starters will end up playing a huge percentage of the minutes. If you start De. Wilson, you only play him 10-15 min. per game.
I feel ya 233
#WWJD
Non-Con starters:
1: De Wilson
2: Mayo
3: Johnson/Hill/Anderson
4: Burton
5: Taylor
Conference starters
1: Du Wilson
2: Mayo
3: Burton
4: Taylor
5: Fischer
We will be hurting if Derrick garners significant minutes.

Fischer already has said he's staying at Marquette.
